- After the exclusive Yeezy Supply pre-order of the first initial release, Adidas US and Yeezy Supply did a re-release of these sneakers the past weekend. I did not hop on the initial pre-orders because I didn’t like the way they hold my money for 3 months before I get my shoes, but for this re-release, I decided to buy them to see how they are in hand. I’ve always thought these looked pretty unique but I have to admit, I never understood the trend for bulkier and heavier shoes this year in 2018. To my surprise, the package was really light weight. What’s new with this silhouette in the Yeezy family? Today, I have the Adidas Yeezy Boost 700 OG Wave Runner for a review.

Dude there is just something so satisfying about your reviews. For some reason I really like the intro with the in-depth of the box. Also these shoes are honestly done no justice in pictures and you really need to see them in person to get them. I like how Kanye just does his own thing and makes something totally different than we expect. You’d think we would get a 750 V2 or 350 v3 but nope we get this complete oddity we’ve never seen before. There’s just something about this shoe and I can’t look away from it.

I absolutely love Kanye. I’m not a hype beast. I’m not like the guys who buy yeezys and can’t quote a single Kanye lyric. And I honestly really like them. I don’t see why people hate on these. But I think the 500’s are the best yeezys. As always great vid.

I have 5 pairs of 350 v2s but these, once broken in, are the most comfortable Yeezys. I could wear em all day, where as the 350s they start to feel really constricting after a couple hours.

I recommend going TTS. I went TTS, and while the toes are a little snug, the heel slips. Sizing up will make that worse.

Hunter Dunbar yep it fit perfect and you can always remove the insoles if you want a little more space. in nmds I wear 10.5 but ultraboost I wear 11.5 lol.

I think that was the “worldwide release.” I went up a half size too and they’re perfect for me but I also have a big ass big toe. They look way better on feet and they’re surprisingly comfortable too. Looking to trade my 2nd DS pair of these in a 6.5 for the new black & purple Pharrell’s in a 10.5

Brother... need your help. Since you've been wearing this for a while do you think if you went on your tts you'll be happy or you rather go half size up? I'm trying to figure it out weather I go to my tts or half size up. I'm really worried about the fit. Please help. Thanks
Half size up was wearable....but there was a bit too much of toe room personally so I think TTS would work as well. I guess at the end of the day, it all depends on the shape of your feet. If you have toes that stays flat and not 'bulging' up, TTS would work.

s2doubleu - Got a question my friend...would you say that these 700s fit more like the Blue Tint / Zebra (snug) or the Semi Frozen Yellow / Beluga 1.0 (SUPER snug)? I personally go up half size on V2s...But had to go up a full size in the Semi Frozen and Beluga 1.0s to get a proper fit. Please advise...lookin' to get a pair on StockX... #WideFeetGang :)
Marc Castillo if I’m not wrong, there’s a rumour for a world wide release soon but if you’re in the market for one immediately, these to me didn’t fit exactly like a V2. It’s not as snug, but the closer fit would be to the tint/zebra in your case. Now the pair I have is half a size up, it’s not unwearable but if I have a chance to buy a future second pair, i actually think I’m able to fit in my true to size. Hope it works out for you man.

any updates on the comfort level, after wear it for few months?
Hmmm...there's not much to update about it really. There's 'boost' inside to dampen some impact on the ground so it won't be as hard on feet, but you won't feel the traditional bouncy feeling. Regardless, it still feels comfortable but for me personally, that's largely because it's roomy inside (in the sense that it's not narrow). It looks great on feet too so that's always a plus!

Good shoe, horrible construction. Stability is just not there and even way worse than on v2's. Toebox snug, heel not so much. Insole is the worst I've had in hand so far. A thicker EVA insole and torsion system would've made them a much, much better shoe, especially with that price tag.

I'm sorry, no amount of hype can make me like these. They're the ultimate hypebeast shoe. If this design wasn't a Yeezy shoe, there'd be little to no interest. Can't wait for the chunky shoe trend to die a quick death.
But there are people who are not hypbeasts and will gladly purchase them, regardless of the brand. I am one of them. Shoes are not limited to hypebeasts. There are people who are actually into fashion and can rock the hell out of these shoes. Hypebeasts, in general, have no eye for style, only labels. There is a difference between us and them.
