i went to a party at Sisqo's house around the thong song time. Initially there were a ton a hot women, i and very few dudes. After a few hours someone said the party was over and they started kicking people out. They told us we could stay but to go down to the gym/studio area of the house until things thinned out. As we waited around until they let all of the people out of the house, i quickly noticed the only ones who were told to leave were the women..... It was time to go at that point. Unfortunately Diddy behavior as well as R. Kelly was widely known. It was an open secret in the industry and all those with direct or indirect access to celebrities heard the rumors / witnessed/ participated with Diddy and in R.Kelly case we had visual proof/ plus the certificate of his marriage to Aaliyah but we chose to look away. That is the problem in and out of the industry as well in communities to look the other way. We convince ourselves that either we deserved to be assulted/ go along with crowd/ not willing to risk our employment/ dont want to snitch/ actively participating whether willing or by coercion/ we don't want to be black balled/ kicked out of the circle. But at what cost did our own self serving behavior cause others. Diddy reign of terror goes back 3 plus decades as the industry cultivated a public persona of successful black business who came from nothing and rose to the top. The industry seemly operated like Boy Scouts or Catholic Church which failed at holding our own accountable when we knew better. Nobody specifically those of us over 45 ( I might even say over 40 has heard these allegations repeatedly the only difference is the victim as it pertains to Diddy. But entertainment industry specifically the Rap Industry holding Diddy up as the choir boy/ Deacon of self serving/ self protection/ self cultivated/ money hungry/ let's party/ industry association of fellowship alleged predatory behavior LLC. While it vilified 2PAC and allowed Wendy Williams to be fired and assaulted by Pam of the group Total/ Steve Stoute , Laurie Ann Gibson, Capricorn, Gina Hyun to allegedly be assaulted. It is rumored he slapped Drake as well as Diddy offering drugs and taking men who identify as heterosexual straight males to gay clubs for alleged grooming. Let's not forget about Keefe D allegations of a murder for higher by Diddy for 2pac and Suge head. O wait did we forget that it was Diddy who talked Biggie into coming to LA andvthe Vibe Party as well as not providing adequate security measures although they were receiving death threats.
