PSA - don't write yours off if it doesn't operates smoothly.
I had the same issues with mine feeling stuck and operating very inconsistently, but then I watched the disassembly/cleaning video from EDC Cartel. I followed the really easy steps there and now mine operates really well. I was about to sell it and call it a loss, but all it needed was a simple cleaning.
There is a Video on official EDC Cartel YT channel that shows the operation and cleaning. It should open very easily (just wrist motion is enough). In that video they have no those concave shaped inserts on the spring btw.
I love mine, I have the PEI one and it springs back when you only get to the fifth click, otherwise its closing :) I have done some testing with the mecanics and I like the black ball the most. I put the ball, cap, spring, ball
I got this one and have had the same frustrations, but I also have the PEI 2023 version and it’s so much better
it's not quite a bearing swap but watching Kev fart around with magnets in a fidget has the same therapeutic effect haha...

Hi Kev! Where do you buy your small springs and balls to have extra parts? I bought a haptic coin (cheap one) and it didnt come with extra parts and I lost one of them
Got them with fidgets. Just came as extras. U could ask the company or dealer they should have parts.

I got one and it was kinda disappointing, unless it works 100% of the time. To me, the best gimmick is to flick the slider and have the part fan out creating a nice pop sound, however, the mechanism seems tight and it would not always swing out when you flick it (making you look stupid) . If you loosen the screw, it would always fan out when you flick it but the screw progressively become looser and looser as you play if you do not tighten. This product feels like a prototype though it scores full marks on the aesthetic side.
Also, if you retract on the first few notches and release, it is supposed to fan back out but mine is kinda stuck and only work 20% of the time
Yea i tried loctiting the screw in the perfect position. Its just hit or miss. Decent product design wise but it def is a prototype in the sense of play. Thanks for the comment

People like wierd stuff? I personally have requirements for a fidget . One of the big ones is : has to be able to be operated with one hand. All the greatest fidgets don't need 2 hands ... and this one just seems like working too hard to "Fidget " with it... It becomes a concious effort and not a semi-concious fiddling which is what we look for in good fidgets....
