This came out a couple of years ago, and I just finished watching it. I LOVED it...very funny.

Colin performs in NYC regularly. He always has new material, most recently I saw him do an hour on Psychological Warfare from the Stone Age to present day.

This is an hour of pure comic brilliance. I never thought Colin Quinn to be a top tier comedian, just some pretty good zingers on weekend update but he brings it. Great show Colin!
i just saw it, and it was super funny!! the puerto ricans, with the halfway in-halfway out theory... supper funny!! He mentioned albanians, respect for that too!!
I love this Colin Quinn special it breaks down the heart and soul of what made New York City, poor Europe immigrants and African Americans built the whole vibe of the place ......Now the new rich Immigrants are buying up the place with daddy and mummy money and adding a blandness that has no grit or soul it's sickening , I'm so glade I am old enough to have experienced the Real New York City regardless of the hardship and struggle.....Colin Quinn I take my hat off to you my friend This was So enjoyable Funny and educational..........

Don't call it a comeback, CQ has been here for years.
+DustinWearsPants no it won't but I'm glad to see Colin doing another special. Unfortunately, most in America are too dumb to appreciate his stuff (not that I'm smart.) People here like easy comedy with stories that shock you and vulgarity after every other word and catchphrases. Every once in a while a great comedian slips through like Louis CK or Bill Burr and becomes famous. Colin's genius is more of an acquired taste to people with short attention spans.
I don't think his career was gloom but these shows you can see how brilliant he is...This is his kind of platform!
The legend

Colin should be *THE* biggest stand up in America. Colin needs to lose the mental blocks that he and Patrice shared. The point of Tough Crowd was to try and bring the atmosphere of the Comedy Cellar table to television? Well he should stop being lazy, or egotistical, or an unorganised fuck up comedian, get his act together, and host a video podcast from the Cellar. Or do it from that studio that Race Wars and Gavin McInnes work out of.
It would be the NO 1 comedy podcast and it would be better than Tough Crowd ever was. It would be exposure to a huge audience and they'd get to see how talented these guys are in a way they don't get from Colin's one man shows or Cop Show. People like Colin, Patrice, Dipaolo, Dan Naturman are actually better on these podcasts and radio shows like OnA than they are on stage. But Tough Crowd never quite captured what you get from the Comedy Cellar Podcast.

***** I don't think Patrice had the right attitude either. I think Patrice had a more destructive philosophy toward purpose and ego and success than Colin does. But they're definitely similar, and they should have been HUGE.
I think Otto Petersen was a case where someone truly was "righteous" as Patrice would say. Otto did it right, the world did it wrong, and that's why he wasn't as big as he should have been. But Patrice is a little different. Not his fault we're living in the land of confusion though.
