Namco should make the bear run like a real bear after fff 1+2, or heat dash. Like a gallop. The animation would look smoother and can do hunting bear mixups after the run or like a super plus heat smah headbutt or heatsmash low... eg @ 0:49, 0:56 a gallop animation would be cooler there.....

Im not certain what the polish caption says, but it has the input for HBS so maybe if you press 3+4 it puts you into that stance with a gallop animation? Just allowing you to have a choice between them maybe.

😕 Not much was added. I guess he finally got animations updated. Was really hoping more Heihachi moves. Like for the whatever random unknow reason that Armor King can wave dash and Dark upper, I was hoping bears would be next... dang...

I've been a Shaheen main for over 6 years in Tekken 7. I still am looking to play Shaheen in T8, however I absolutely love all the changes they have done to Kuma for his moveset. Im not talking about about visual changes, but overall input changes. There's so much changes for the better in inputs. I dabbled with Kuma in T7 and previous Tekkens, but never have mained him. T8 might be the first time I main Kuma.
I know it wasn't shown here, but the "Bear Electrics" he also has and is super fun! Can't wait!
Two things caught my attention, the nerf of damage and frame data of his db, 2 being -1 on hit, and his hellsweep forcing crouch on hit but being faster. Not sure about the second one being buff or nerf but they should've kept his first one the way it is since it's one of his main pokes.
Also sad for the b,f2 not leading to a screw on normal hit anymore.

gutting Kuma's "electric" was one of the most questionable ideas, if not straight up dumb.
character favoritism really shows, some dudes in Bamco are probably still coping that bear won TWT
db 2 is spammable because it crushes highs and its range is still great
db4 launches on CH only
@@moodyhearts db4 is quite worthless anyway, so that's not a bad change imo. It'll help green rankers cope with fighting bears.

not as heihachi as i wanted, but I love the new animations. Wish his mouth moved a bit more during his animations. The permanent smile is distracting lol

They hyped him so much, all the CZcamsrs based on his lore, I wanted a proper heihachi styled kuma, not a kuma that does hei's 1 plus 2 that's it
RIP Hach. He was the only Mishima I could play worth a damn. Oh well, I don't mind being forced to finally find a new main. I did secretly just want to play Bearhachi though XD

0:15 Just to clarify, when you say "mostly" what percentage are we talking here? 70% the same, or a number even higher than that? They boasted about how they're different now due to Kuma's training, but this has me worried that Panda is just glorified pallet swap again...
I don't know about frame data or properties on block/CH, but they have different Rage Art and Heat Burst animation. You can check Panda in a separate video: czcams.com/video/ujtxu7s2LIw/video.html

I hope we can input old method for a blue spark atleast. Some other characters have a blue spark for using the old/legacy input.
So the bears really didn’t need separate spots on the select screen, since they’re pretty much the same.

Looks like they made his inputs easier. Grizzly claw and grizzly claw smash are QCF instead of HCF, and rolling bear is just a double forward input.
I think I spy a lot more stance transitions too.
Now that we've seen Kuma's trailer, where are the Salmon Wind God Fists? Was it something they added into his moveset last minute, perhaps a hidden move? 😮
I don't use Kuma much, but was wishfully thinking he was gonna have more Heihachi moves or at least a dark upper. They only gave him like 2 Heihacha moves 😕 AND Panda better not have the same EXACT moveset lol
he has a lot more heihachi moves. but if all you know is ewgf, wgf, and dark upper this i can see why you are disappointed

b22 is a Heigachi move, the ender is just different

his new moves change a lot of how he's played, and his new charge mechanic especially changes how he's played. have 10 really drastic new things is a lot more important than having 100 little new things.

The only thing that really disappoints me is the fact you can’t combo off of his snake edge anymore. What is the point of using it if theres not reward for using such a risky seeable low
It's way faster at 21, way better to have it as a poking/ch low
I think it also juggles in Heat, but I wasn't 100% sure, so I didn't mention it.

It seems it was not present in this pre-release version. The first time we learned about Kuma's EWGF was when the trailer dropped.

The funny shit is these vids dont ever show the enhanced moves in heat, or in the move lists like wtf there should he a vid for those too
These were either not visible in the move list back then or not present in that build. You can notice in the Shaheen trailer that there is a move which was not present in the move list video.
@@JakubDi yea thats what i was saying its funny and trash how they didnt even bother to display in heat enhanced movesets, I honestly wouldnt even be surprised the final build wont feature that as well
