Thank you for sharing this with us Hannah. The hotels were fabulous and it was wonderful you shared such beautiful days and nights. I told you I was an American Footballers wife for 9 years. I commuted to The Pittsburgh Steelers, New Orleans saints, Tampa Bay buccaneers., and finally my husband played in Calgary Alberta where we too had a home we purchased. I think you do very very well in another culture. I used to get homesick for Maine and Boston while in Calgary. My husband was gone almost all day practicing and i was a flight attendant and had to go back across the US and Canada to get home. I told you after a while it was difficult. I think staying 3 weeks is wonderful and you look so happy. I look forward to your vlog when you get home . Safe travels.
I enjoy watching your vlogs and was looking forward to your update in Thailand. We missed seeing Kenny in the vids. I think if you were considering temporarily moving to Thailand, Roo would be ok there, she would get used to the heat. Life takes us in different directions and it's not always easy to make decisions, it takes us out of our comfort zones.
Just wanted to say Hannah, don't worry so much about your hair and makeup, those things really aren't important and you are beautiful regardless. Wishing you both all the best.

I watched your vlog again last night and felt the mindfulness and love with which you treat yourself and your body. It has a huge effect on me and it does me a lot of good and motivates me to treat myself just as well and lovingly. ... Maintaining a long-distance relationship and keeping it alive with love, patience and attention is not easy. I was in a long-distance relationship with my partner for 15 years, but we were only 300 km away. I find your situation very challenging because of the great distance. I live in India .. and our summers are always 40C. But we have the aircon going on 24/7 at home, along with thick curtains, darkening and cooling films on french windows, and bamboo chiks (its like movable screens with bamboo slats) on the balconies to fend off the heat layer by layer.
To be honest, it needs a lot of prep. If you have just landed up there, it will be v v difficult. And thank you for your kindness towards animals. Kenny is a star though! all the best to both of you. Hope it becomes better. 🌸
PS: It’s a very American and also Asian thing I think to have more bathrooms than bedrooms.. its like 3bhk/ 4 baths.. usually one is extra for visitors etc.

I think the dog situation is as similar to that im my country or africa as a whole, dogs live outside, they are kept to guard the house and yard, and they can roam as much as they want, they know their way home and usually local people know whose dog is which...it is just how it is

Enjoyed this vlog in Thailand. So nice to see you back with Kenny albeit for only a few weeks. I've been a few times to Thailand and other countries in Asia and the only thing I didnt like was the heat! No sooner i acclimatised I was leaving lol. You managed to see and do quite alot during your stay. Hope you have a safe journey back. You'll soon get back to routine although obviously you'll miss Kenny 💜

Aww Thailand my favourite country in the world so far. The most gorgeous people too. So I assume Phi Phi island has now been open up again. They had previously closed it due to foreigners coming and polluting it. Hopefully people will be more respectful of it this time round. It isn’t unusual in different parts of the world to have M&S and Waitrose. Ghana is the same although they aren’t partners over here stuff is just sold from there as it is bought over for certain shops. Defo a treat.

It can be really different being from a country where dogs and cats are seen as domestic animals and then travelling to countries where they’re not. Where my family is from, dogs are seen as protection only and aren’t allowed in the house, so you often see them roaming around or constantly outside. It’s sad to see, but an unfortunate reality in many countries. It’s very kind of you to give them water. Hopefully they don’t become too dependent on you though! Thanks for sharing snippets of your life with us! ❤

My friend, when they were on holiday in Thailand, big dog person, took mummy and puppy to vet, just to get mummy neutered!
Stray dogs can be happy too! It’s just very painful to see sooooo many of them !!
I always feed stray cats and dogs too

Ahhhh I’d love to but Kenny works away a lot during the season so I’d be alone too much I think and also it’s too hot for Roo here and I could never leave her! Hopefully will start the wedding planning soon 🤞🏼🤍

If you need help rehoming, finding help for injured animals, etc in Thailand, there’s an amazing organization there called Soi Dog. I’ve donated to them for years and they are a 4 star, platinum rated charity. Amazing organization that’s so well run. I hope this is a helpful resource and thank you for caring for the street dogs!
I know they’re amazing I follow them too! But unfortunately they don’t operate in the area of Thailand where Kenny lives, I don’t think any established charities do from what I could find :( xx

its better to get the dogs neutered in all countries with strays to stop the cycle of strays, Romania was given funding but misused it. I couldn't go to many markets in China etc due to the live animals being killed

In England, without shelter, stray domestic animals die in the winter, along with homeless people. Meanwhile, in Thailand, 40°C won't kill dogs; they can cool themselves down by swimming in the water. In Thailand, municipalities don't capture stray dogs; they just let them be, and people manage by themselves. In all developed countries, such as England, they put a chip in all dogs, so owners must take care of their animals at all costs. I'm sure that before that, they might have done something called "setting zero," meaning killing all the stray dogs. Even nowadays, if they find a stray dog without a chip, do you know what your government would do? They would capture them and put them in a shelter, looking for a new home. If no one adopts that poor dog, it will be killed. Thailand won't do that dog and stray dog are protected by the law. The reason Thailand has a lot of stray dogs is that it's a developing country where people love feeding stray animals and they don't kill stray dog just because they are stray, That's why it spreads, and that's why many of them are able to live long. You can try to visit some muslin countries where dog aren't protected by law or some poorer countries where people don't even have enough money to feel themself let's alone the dog and see the condition of their stray dogs, how thin and sad they are compared to Thai stray dogs the best probably set zero and chip all the dog which going to cost billion to do so not all glitter are gold as you already know, feeding them just make them survive by won't make their life as good, other way is sterilize all the stray dog it also cost billion, If I were the government I would rather prioritize my money to something else.
