Why door handles
Only a little. A lick is slang for stealing or doing something bad to someone/something.
I teach at an elementary school- we didn’t have any problems with devious licks, but the intermediate school and higher did. The intermediate school (500-1000 kids) had such a problem with multiple bathrooms being destroyed beyond usability they closed all but one bathroom, paid for a full time sub to sit outside the bathrooms, and only allowed one kid in and out of each one at a time with the sub going in and checking between each one. The kids also had to sign in and out so they could check in case something happened.
It was nuts.
In my high-school they ripped the urinal off the walls

I remember watching Drew Gooden talk about a trend where people would open an ice cream container in a store, lick it, close it and put it back, AND UPLOAD IT ON THE INTERNET. If you are doing some sort of theft or crime, I'm not sure if uploading it on popular social media on your account is the best course of action for you.

As a janitor at a highschool, I have been affected by this, we had to close all but two bathrooms in the whole school, kids were throwing apples at the wall, ripping soap dispensers off the wall, breaking paper towel dispensers, we even had a time were they emptied all the soap all over the floor which is just a pain to clean cause if we use a mop, it just spreads it and makes it sudsy. Not to mention they have apparently brought in dye once or twice.
That actually sucks man. Kids are very stupid and most are not taught discipline.

the angelic yields at my school were actually so dope. We have this big bathroom behind the stage that people use to change costume during the play that was boring and empty until I hung up a nice oil painting in there, somebody got a doormat and put it inside the door, somebody else bought a clock, and some legend brought in a mini fridge. We also had a set of speakers in one of the band ensemble practice rooms that the foam surrounds were totally destroyed so I bought new ones and glued them in and then brought a 200watt stereo amp to replace the 10 watt one that used to drive them.

The only "devious lick" we did was when i was like a junior in 09 we disconnected the phone headset from the phone cord and took it. It was from our favorite teacher as a prank. He searched everyones bag but we had stashed it by then. So for about 3 weeks the phone would ring and she had no physical way to answer it. When we graduated on our last day we gave it back to her. She smiled and laughed so hard cause she had a feeling it was us
