It is too bad that the controller has the cables “ permanently “ connected so figuring out how to get it into a waterproof box is a bit more challenging than it could be!
I agree, removable connectors would be ideal. I am experimenting with some weather proof boxes. I'll post an update if I find a good solution.

Could you please tell how long is the cable between the lights? Can’t find this information anywhere, even on govee website. Thank you!
@@andy-an05 it’s 9.84ft between each light and 6.56ft from the controller to the first light. HTH
