I have a problem with echoing but I have a setup to where my headphones are linked to my controller my input has a mocrophone array setting and in advanced it has monitor only mute output but if I turn it off it doesn’t pick up my voice at all

How do I set up the audio for 2 different Browser windows so that they behave in the following way: Browser Audio 1 goes out to headphone AND stream, Browser Audio 2 goes out to headphone, but Not to stream
Set browser 2 to monitor only in advanced audio properties. BUT if you are using audio output capture to capture desktop audio you can’t separate them. It’s a party line.
Please tell me whenever i start playing games connected with elgato or pc i the game sounds gets reduced when firing is going on and as soon as it stops the sound increases please tell me a solution
Sounds like you have audio ducking on.
I'm having a problem with the audio setup. I have a audio interface (Focusrite) which my external speakers are connected to. Also it has a headphone output as well. When I add "audio device". OBS shows "No device connected" when it is connected and I am getting output from my Desktop sources. Not sure how to resolve it. Thanks.

at the bottom of the camera properties window click use custom audio device I think its called. then select the mic you want to use.

Hey Michael, I am recording a pastel demonstration done outside on OBS so I can have a side picture of the scene I am painting. Then I am going to post it to my youtube channel. Which is the best video of yours for me to look at so I can get the audio set to suppress the extranious noises from being outside. I did use a mic when I recorded, but my sound is still not even. thanks man, that was great. But i'm having an issue very annoying. When I open up OBS there's no audio at all in any other application, the browser stops running, no media player sound.... its like OBS crashes everything else while its open. My system is: windows 11, RTX3060, intel i7 ntel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700 CPU @ 2.90GHz 2.90 GHz; RAM: 16GB... And a Tascam US16x08 as my audio interface. I use a mac computer and whenever I try to um like use the game sound audio thingy it says not connected to any device and it won't even let me pick the drop down section.
im at the start your obs is clean my obs already got a mic. sign so we a;lready starting different i got a audio mixer already and no source ... i cant delete it ... and if i do what you do i have 2 mic's weird men ...

Desktop audio catches everything that is played through that speaker. There are ways to send different audio to different sources so you can split the capture in obs though. On pc not Mac.

Hey Michael. I have a problem with my OBS. Whenever I add an Audio Output Capture, the audio doesn't work. The Microphone Capture works, but the Audio Output Capture just doesn't capture any audio. I got it to work one time but I forgot what I did to fix it and whatever I do I can't get it to work. I would really appreciate your help. Thanks.

Thank you. I followed these steps but i am getting echoing, how do you stop the echo? Its playing over and over.
In my mac, i can't seem to pick-up the audio from my google meet to my obs. This happened last night when we had our presentation via google meet and i recorded our google meet session in obs. all of the audio wasn't recorded even when I already set-up a muti-output device.

I have encountered an issue in our Church live stream set up..
We have distortion coming through when multiple microphones are being used ..also for so e unknown reason we can cannot hear any instruments coming through to Zoom?
Any ideas ? We recently upgraded OBS and wondered if that's the cause ?

Distortion could be cables. Zoom not getting instruments is probably noise cancellation of some sort. Those are tuned for voices. It thinks instruments are noise. That’s my guess.

Yes I have a quistion. I am unable to get a input signal. with either my microphone or as a line input. (Don't use a microphone. I want to record a hardware media player with line in) I updated the drivers. I used 3 different external soundcards. I watched all your typical tutorial videos like. Allow apps to have access to your microphone turn up the volume in your windows settings I mean I spend hours searching and googling. And yet .I am able to record my desktop. But not my line in. If I knew away that I can hear my line in signal on my desktop then that would be fine to. ANd I just record the desktop instead of line in OBS. I tried everything. I hope you can help.
Hi I am having an issue with my obs audio when using the microphone and the capture audio. So if I am recording a you tube clip and recording the audio of the clip and have the microphone on at the same time I get a horrible clash between the two types of audio on at the same time. The only way I don't is if I mute one of the two
Hi, me and my friends wants to live stream for caroling and we will use a condenser mic i wanted to ask how to set up the mic and speaker so that we can hear the sound without using the headphone and how it will not capture the sound coming from the separate speaker
There are some softwares that do this. None of them do it well. Headphones is the correct solution. Or an earpiece.

Hey Mike. Love your channel. Lots I learned from you. Quick question ... Can you setup hot keys for volume up or down? I'm using audio from a mixing board. It would be easier to have hot keys.
Just on and off unfortunately. Loupedeck does offer an external unit that can give you volume control.
I am recording a church service and at the end of the service closing music is played as the congregation leaves the church. I am using a soundboard and hanging microphones only for the music. How do I make a transition to a closing slide while the music is still playing? When I add the slide to the end of the service the music stops and just the slide is seen with no music. How can I change this?
You need your music source in the end scene. You also want to be sure to use the cross fade option in your transition settings so the audio carries over and does not fade in and out during the transition.
Kindly expound on the ✅ in the track section.... then situations when the sound capture card isn't picking sound signal from mixer

For that audio yes. For mic audio no.

One thing that I haven't been able to resolve is, when adding a Media Source, even after going into advanced properties and selecting Monitor & Output, there's no sound. The meter is showing audio levels but I can't hear anything. Is this normal? Any ideas or link to one of your videos going into this topic? Thanks again.
In settings audio see what your default monitor is. Is could actually be different then where you are listening. :-)

How can I run my audio through my camera into obs not through the laptop. I use a canon 80D. I've tried and it's not going...... and my second problem is when I use audio through my laptop the quality is low and poor how can adjust it
Are you using the hdmi output on the camera to a cap card or some sort of USB adapter with software? The USB adapter thing doesn’t carry camera audio.

I couldn’t be sure I’m not familiar with the equipment. Maybe it doesn’t carry audio through the usb. Usually you need a cam link to get the audio and video together from a camera.

Hi Michael. Thanks for the video. One issue I'm having though is I wanted to change the browser audio to like distorted or maybe change pitch. I'm not going to use microphone. I will only use browser audio but I need to tweak it or change the pitch in anyway. I've downloaded a plugin reajs however it seemed like it's not working for window capture. Can you help me on this. I am using Sony A73 as web cam via USB but no audio is coming through to obs, any solution for this please? I am using a MacBook Pro by the way!!!
If you are not using a cam link from the hdmi on the camera it’s not getting the audio. The usb from the cam only carries video as far as I know. You could just use a separate usb mic to the pc as well.

My audio is good but I have a question. I seen a video about this before but I can’t find it. I want my low voice to be the same volume as my high voice. The goal is to have the listener have a consistent volume with my video when I’m talking. Have you made a video about this?

This Video is super helpful, but for some reason I & not able to get my audio back up so the recording option can pick it up. I am using Irium app as my camera/mic, had just used it today with success, all of a sudden I am not able to pick up my voice in the recording.

I am watching your video because I shot a podcast earlier today. Watching another CZcams video I learned how to use OBS as a VT or Video Playback Machine. Worked Great! Except one problem. The Audio from my videos would ONLY come out of my laptop speakers. No matter what I did, Change the out put in the Mac preferences Changed the output settings in OBS nothing worked. All the other sounds from my laptop routed where I wanted but OBS ONLY played out of the LapTop Speakers. I dont know what to do.

Mac do not have built in desktop audio capture devices. You need to use software like IshowU.
I am having issues with OBS after I remux a video, the audio is not playing. When I play the video in the mkv format, I can hear the audio but when I remix it, the audio doesn't work.

Hi Michael. I have a Canon DSLR Mark iii and have downloaded the EOS utility software to use my camera in OBS with a USB cable. I have video, but my camera audio is not being picked up in OBS. Any ideas on how to fix? Thank you so much!!
The audio signal from the camera isn’t passed through obs using that method. You can use a mic plugged directly into the computer. Or ideally use the hdmi output on the camera and a cam card. This would take the camera audio and video in the same source.
@@MichaelFeyrerJr I cant get a clean HDMI out with the Canon Mark iii with the cam card, which is why I downloaded the EOS Webcam Utility from canon and used the USB. My laptop only has a headphone jack, so I cant run my external mic into my laptop. I've been pulling my hair out trying to figure this out. Bought several different audio adapters trying to get the audio in and just havent had any luck with any of it.
I had an audio issue this past sunday at church, it seems that in the audio tab my microphone used the week before was changed to no device /none selected or something along that line, I did change it back after the 45 mins of silence. I guess my question how does it change by itself.
Generally it doesn’t. It could have been a glitch or maybe you selected or created another scene or settings profile by accident.

I have been unable to use audio from any webcam. I tried Gopro Max and Hero 8, and my Nikon DSLR. Streaming the cameras on OBS is fine, but I never can get audio from any of them. Is this a known problem with OBS for windows?

I'm trying to setup my microphone coming from a Soundcraft 12 Channel MTK mixer. I can't get any sound into OBS!!! I see all the channels available in OBS, I choose the 7/8 channels, I hear myself talking into the mic, but the meters don't move in OBS. I'm using ListView method to bring in the screen from an iPhone and trying to get audio from the mixer. It might not be what Im looking for, from what I've tested the video is way lagging. Is there a way to direct cable the iPhone I to OBS? I'm using Windows PC.
Those channels in obs are not your mixer. They are obs audio channels for recording. You have to add the mixer in using the audio input capture. If the Mtk is something that obs will see.
@@MichaelFeyrerJr I have tried that, I added an Audio input capture and assigned the 7/8 channels from the mixer(my microphone). But I get no audio in the meters. I know the mixer is being seen by the computer and OBS because when I unplug the mixer all the channels go away.

Dude, I have Digital Video Camera 4K camcorder that has shotgun mic atop of it with a 3.5 mm pin plug from it to the DVC. How do I add the audio mixer for that & what special settings should I go with??

Macs do not have a desktop audio capture function built in. You have to install software that will do it.
Do a search for mac capture desktop audio and you should find some solutions.
My game sound is having too much bass and disturbance. Stream audio quality is not great. Sometimes, sound is not getting captured.
Try a different microphone.
