What's really weird is how none of the guest characters from the Alpha/OG timeline ever questions the fact that there's a Huckebein in that universe, i mean, Ryusei immediatley recognized Uso and pater on Mazinkaiser, but not the Huckebein, a machine that he himself piloted?
It's basically a combination of 3 different Huckebein together, Mark 2's frame, with Mark 3's graviton rifle, and powered by the black hole engine of the original to use the black hole cannon. They even included shout outs to Wing gundam's twin buster rifle and Zeta gundam's hyper beam saber, clever Your damage output is a bit unreal, even with max pilot stats. Only way I can think of is if there's some kind of buff/items you took that added a lot more to the 400 limit
The frame Is that of the original Huckebein (the 008 L in SRW OGs), you can tell by the butt-skirt, wich Is a single plate, as opposed to the Mark 2 and 3 wich have two separated butt skirts wich are identical to the front skirts. What differentiates the 30 from the other Huckebeins in OG Is the fact that the 30 doesn't have head mounted vulcans.

The Full Burst would have been better if they removed the 3D cut-in, since it looks divine war-esque which doesn't fit with the more beautiful sprite cut in right afterward. As both cut ins depict the Huck 30 charging the cannons, one would have sufficed and sometime less is more.
It is sad to see how SRW went back after an outstanding delivery of Z. Z and Z2 got so much minor to major details were you know that they invested in the game to make it fun not for promotion and advertisment. In Z enemy got amazing and strong attacks which you like to watch but these days they got maximum of 3 and one usually a map attack. I remember when Jeginju appears, I'm like "Oh Hell!!!" Because they were tough foes. It is time to be more creative and make enemy smart AIs like you playing against a player and they should put enough budget to enemy with unique theme and attacks. I still miss the difference in same attack in sky and land.
It is... So bitter that things used to be better in the old days. And I really doubt things are ever gonna improve. I really see no other option other than moving onto something else that doesnt evoke this incredibly bitter feeling of yearning for the old days.
That lack of variety on attacks on enemy and ally mechs, the lack of options for choose your starter mech, the upgrade of the main mech, the stiff animation of the main mech, the freaking black window between attacks, counter attacks and/or assists. Those are my issues with srw30. Is a good game, but it could be much better. Heck, My first srw was the A, the Game Boy Advance one, and the freaking warrior beast, or the hakkai mechs have at least 3 attacks each one, meanwhile the mechabeast in srw30 have one or two if they are lucky, or the fact that the Hucke 30 is less stiff in srw dd, the mobile game, that in the main one. Axel and Touya got 4 starter mechs to choose from! And his titles come from the Game Boy Advance! And the upgrade for Touya's are awesome and change all attacks and give new ones! Hete in srw30, well... Dunno man, I really miss the details of A,J, W and the OG. Hope the next game could done things better.

@@hanzokirishima432 A portable (psp) got the most badass animation which was a mix of Alpha3 and MX with great impact on attacks and the been used in OG gaiden. But story wise, Z was a solid game and have a really touching story where the good side really struggle to win unlike recent titles which were straight forward and just an anime advertisement show. Daizingar as guest looks like a toy in battle..... Really banpresto!!! this is Daizingar, should've give him enough justice for real. They really need to put more budget on main characters good and bad both need more attention and investment.
Gosh you guys get it! I haven't bothered to play 30 in 9 months, having more fun playing ogs and the alphas. Also the mission structure is lame, I remember how much fun alpha 1 was because you can't just pit any unit against any unit and you had to use strategies for drawing enemy out or thinning the herd, heck forget about animation, it's never going to be made good after how much 30 made with those dog shit stretchy and stiff 3d bs, see any of the older animations and you could see the weight of the attack in those tiny individual animations on different parts of the unit, and they used to try and put in as many animations as possible, heck I'd happy take an srw that gives OG level of attacks but all in alpha style pixel animation, idk why they pretend that pixel games are dead.
I'm so sad that we could absolutely have gotten a better upgrade, like the 30th is an absolutely powerful unit but it just sucks in terms of the upgrade. It loses what makes the 30 unique which is the visor and gets a black hole cannon for a backpack instead
Huckebein 30 (pre-repairs) had the same design motif as the Exbein Ashe. So no, the visor/repair tape and armor isn't a unique look. The flight unit is big and unsightly. And IIRC, weighs about half as much as the Huckebein. It does not give the impression that it is faster or more agile with it. Rather than lugging said weapons around I would have liked to have gotten a Hucky with the ability to summon its weapons via gravity pockets like a low-end Granzon or like the Mk III's graviton rifle animation back in Alpha.
@@thomasreagor1706 it really is questionable why it carries around the black hole cannon while every bein has never done that and always has it getting sent to use it instead And I kind of forgot about Exbein Ashe when writing that, for an anniversary unit it could've instead gotten an arsenal that represents every version of the Bein instead of this mess
@@blux_cross I don't think that was the homework assignment. They wanted to give the protagonist something that was a callback to the original Huckebein while trying to make said Huckebein look new. The opted for dual-wielding graviton rifles and a flight pack that could carry the heavier hitting stuff. A full-armored take (like the FA Gundam or the FA Hyaku Shiki on the Huckebein would have been nice to see. - Circle Zanber (on the left arm) - Dual Barrelled Photon Cannon (on the right arm) - Graviton Launcher (mounted on the right shoulder) - Micro Tesla Drive Missile Launcher (mounted on the left shoulder) - Micro Missiles Pods (on both legs)

Man...I'm gonna be honest...the Hukebein 30th doesn't deserve a theme song this cool. Though, I do think making a Huckebein variant the protag's mech in the 30th anniversary game was lame.
I dont mind with huckebein tbh,though i wish they just took T approach with sub protagonist with huckebein while main protagonist piloting completely original mech Instead they took V approach by giving sub protag pre upgrade mech
What a joke of an srw game to be honest. The new units are extremely underwhelming, attacks felt slow, unimpressive and choppy, the story…is decent to some extent

It might had worked better if they used one of the Graviton Rifles as the giant Beam Saber emitter, like A Gundam,s Beam Rifle.

There was an update following the game’s release that bumped the stat cap to 999 as well as adding super expert mode

I came here to post something like this. For being the Hukebein 30th anniversary, the Hukebein doesn't even have in built in abilities.
I know people have had issues with the series post-Z...but I'll be honest. This is a downgrade from even T.
