After living with the Valencia Tuscany Home Theater Seats for several months I'm ready to give my impressions. I've been "sitting" on this video for a while and decided to release it. If you're looking for a no B.S. opinion on these seats that's not a paid fluff piece you've come to the right place. These are generally good seats for most people but still have some glaring issues and as it turned out, are not the seats they currently sell. How or why they sent me these poor representations of their offerings I will never know.
After some discussions on various forums, it appears that Valencia sold me seats at full price after already discontinuing them and replacing them with better quality options. Valencia did not offer me their current model for review nor did they let me know this was a discontinued version when I placed my order. Shady S.O.B.'s all around. But the CZcamsrs getting free seats love them no matter what.
My Dedicated Home Theater and Media Rooms are both fully equipped with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X 3D Sound while the Media Room has Dolby Vision and the Home Theater is HDR10 due to the projector limitations.

Glad to see at least one reviewer who wasn't paid off by the company. It is stilly how many people lack the integrity to disclose clearly that they are doing a compensated "review".
I’m glad someone has confirmed what I long suspected regarding Valencia’s marketing practices. This is why it is ALWAYS best to take online reviews with much caution and do your best to navigate through all the shilled reviews and make a better educated decision. I had these on a short list of several options I was looking to get. Ultimately I wanted to sit in any seating I purchased so I lucked out and had a local buddy demo the Tuscany for me. I also was able to sit in a competitor’s seat that’s a close clone to these.
I did decode to get but I agree w many of your comments and assessments…..very very comfortable chair…..I would say they’re a bit over priced new but I got a killer deal for a used row of three and I’m very satisfied.
For those looking for chairs,,,,do your research…..understand many of the tubers that review these were sent free chairs…..it is up to you to decode if it’s practical to believe someone that has been given a free sample to give an unbiased review……I myself know how I feel about that……but everyone has to male their own personal choice about it.
I reached out to Valencia again, earlier this year, requesting sample seats from a current run of product in hopes that the quality is better but they flat out refused to work with me on it. The internet is littered with paid shills and it's impossible to choose any products based on real world experience, especially stuff that has to be ordered online. Very few manufacturers are confident in their own products and will stand by them no matter the outcome. The only people that can be trusted are the ones that paid out of pocket and have no direct manufacturer affiliate links to sell the items they are reviewing.
I have similar complaints with ours. I wish I could turn off the button lights. One of the struts to hold open the armrest only had one screw in it that wasn’t even tightened and in crooked. The other screw was just rolling around inside with a bunch of sawdust. All three chairs were squeaky. We separated them from each other and that helped slightly. I really like the chairs. They look great, they’re very comfortable. I like they trays a lot. We never put them away and haven’t had trouble with them interfering with the cup holders like you. This company needs better quality control for certain. I expected perfection for this amount of money. Overall, we are happy, but not sure I’d rush into buying more of them for the back row. Not at full price, anyway.
Awesome video and I wondered why there were a flood of reviews on these seats but now I know.
I didn't want to be a complete ass and stamp the title image with "EXPOSED" because the seats are still good and I'm enjoying them. They're just not sent from god like the shills are claiming. If I come across seat that blows me away, I'll be certain to share that too.

I have the Tuscany seats in my home theater. They are a little pricey and are good quality. The chairs are comfortable and look nice. I wish there was a seat memory, heated option, light adjustment, and ability to turn off the switch lights. I like the trays for holding my popcorn tub, but when I use the trays it rubs against my drink.

Love honest reviews like this. I’m from the industry and there is so much disinformation and tainted reviews. Compensated CZcamsrs are the modern day Snake Oil salesmen of audiophiliac yesteryear. My AV reps drove Toyota Celica class vehicles, while furniture and Ht seat reps drove Mercedes. Should tell you how much damn profit is in seating, …and unlike a projector, which you need 1, AVR 1, sub 1-2, customers never buy one chair. 🤔

I was told that they upgraded and improved their seating recently and what I bought was "old" stock prior to the improvements. A lot of people have expressed joy with the newer revised seats. If you were to buy them, I would be grateful if you used my referral links in the description. However, there are so many seating companies out there it's difficult to decide but in all honesty, they are mostly all the same.

To be honest, the Odin subs I built for the theater are so intense I haven't been motivated to work on that. I still want to but my god.... do I even really need them when our pant legs are shaking. Yeah, I guess I do. Maybe in the spring I'll work on it.
I was about to order the Tuscany three seat console edition. After your review, I’m not so sure about it. For the price, the quality should be a lot better. I appreciate your honest review. Quick question, how long have you had the chairs for and is it normal to have so many creases in the leather?
9 months and they look the same as they did when I unboxed them. I honestly can't say if it's normal since they are my first "luxury" seats. There are seats from another manufacturer I have my eye on and if I can swing it, I want to buy those and compare them. Ideally, these Valencia's will move to the unused back row.
After much research I opted for Palisar over Valencia. They are very comfortable and durable. But they tend to cost more and are custom made. I still think I made the right decision.
I wonder how hard it would be to pop out the control panels and attenuate the LED's? I'm out of town at the moment otherwise I would look at that on mine.
I just ordered the Tuscany's (3). They say delivery will be between the 18th and the 25th. Will be interesting to see if that happens and if I can get my Butt Kicker under it.

5'-8" and they are perfectly fine. I don't experience any discomfort and find I never need to use the lumbar support.
I have no doubt these are good seats but I appreciate your honesty more than anything else. What you said though makes me wonder how many or if any of those rave reviews by other CZcamsrs was honest. 🤔 Thumbs up from me for your honest opinions.
I know for a fact several online reviews were provided free or massively discounted seats for favorable reviews. One in particular filled his entire theater with several custom seats with all the bells and whistles. Whenever there is a bulk lot of reviews for a particular product, Perlisten most recently, it's because manufacturers or product reps send out mass requests to "influencers". Depending on their subscriber count, amount of revenue generated from the channel and other factors, the youtuber will then be presented an offer of products or allow that youtuber to select the specific products they want to review. SEO data and talking points are also provided. It's rare that any youtube review of a product isn't in some way sponsored by a rep. When youtubers buy their own stuff and review it, they clearly mention that since it's a much bigger personal investment.
@@MancaveCentral1 Trust me I already know everything you said. I just watch these videos only because I like this kind of home theater stuff. Never because I’m trusting in what they claim and for their “ honest reviews.” Of course some occasionally say straight up they bought the own product for the review but I believe still there is some manufacturer influenced opinions included in their opinions. Easy to tell when they are raving and giving the products very high praises when you already others that did not. JMO.

GREAT REVIEW, MY GOD YOU ARE CREDIBLE! Question - Wife 5.2 -- lumbar too high. My Wife is that hight too- - -actually 5.0. If lumbar too high - even if you just leave the lumbar alone vis a vis the power button? Thanks
The lumbar section still has a slight hump there before it even extends. She finds it mildly uncomfortable no matter what but still manages to spend hours in the chair. I suppose it can't be that uncomfortable. Besides that, the manufacturer claims they don't sell this design anymore so I have no idea what a new Tuscany is like.

The basic tuscany line is very shiny, these appear to be the black tuscany "luxury" line which is their matte/flat finish and nearly double the price - perhaps they accidentally sent? Idk, but they are beautiful in matte. I have hesitated ordering from them because the base set is so shiny. This is also indicative of the seat controller style. Idk I'm baffled what model you actually have. The newest luxury models would also have multi color LED option. Perhaps you received some sort of in between model in the midst of the pandemic.

Sorry for the late response. I wish I knew the answer. I have been contacted by a couple places but all were duds. There is one theater seating company that had a line of chairs that on paper, blew my mind but would not send anything to me review after soliciting me to do so, they insisted I pay for them even when I told them I would ship them back, I passed on that since shipping was outrageous. Another seating company called Seatcraft claimed they would send me some for review but they were so unreliable and fickle on what they were doing I just simply said no thanks. I had a facetime time with them but it was some kid in his living room wearing a t-shirt and had sweaty armpits. Not sure what's up with that. Anyways, I'm finding that no one in the industry is willing to provide products for review without a strict adherence to a script and guarantee of glowing reviews. I've given up on trying since the majority of the CZcams influencers with huge subscriber counts don't actually care about ethics or morals since CZcams monetization is their sole source of income and don't give ashit about integrity anymore. They just want the free stuff and the clicks.

They are a bunch of junk. Out of 4 chairs, they all broke within 1 year. But they look good. Service sucks two. They sent me new parts (I had to pay for them) and they were used, in open bags missing the trim pieces. The parts didn't work either. The chairs were also damaged when they were delivered. They replaced 1 chair, but it took months to get it. I still have 4 broken chairs!!
Coming from an automotive seating manufacturing back ground, the best I can say is that these look like first off prototypes. The fit and finish is horrible, rolling seam edges, excessive wrinkles, puckers. Poor functional design and trim engineering is amateurish at best. I’d be ashamed to present these to a customer.
Valencia isn't known for the quality of their work, they stick with buying youtubers for good word of mouth instead of an excellent product that sells itself.

The Valencia, perforated leather seats, need some consideration before buying because they may not be for everyone!
it's very important as consumers that we know, and understand the products we are buying, and will it be the best fit for you, or your family.
PROS
Airflow - These seats allow air to pass through them, which helps to keep you cool.
Sound absorption - The holes help to absorb sound waves.
Comfortable - The seats are very comfortable, which means they are easy to sit on. They also come with a high backrest, which relieves pain and discomfort.
Luxurious - The material offers a tactile sensation, meaning that it feels luxurious and smooth. This makes it an ideal choice for people who value style over practicality.
Modern look - The seats offer a modern and stylish look.
CONS
Wrinkles - Wrinkles are common when using perforated leather seats because the material tends to stretch out more than regular leather. This means that the seats need to be maintained and taken care of.
Small debris - The holes allow food and other debris to penetrate the seat’s interior. This could lead to stains and odors.
Damage - If the seats get damaged, then the entire seat needs replacing. Therefore, make sure that you buy only quality products.
Less durable - The material is less durable than regular leather, which means that it requires proper maintenance. It should be cleaned regularly to prevent dirt buildup.
Costly - The seats tend to be expensive.
Not pet friendly - Cats or dogs with small pointy sharp claws can get them caught in the perforated holes, and all pet odors and urine can be absorbed, through the holes, and penetrate the inner fabric of the chair.
To start off, I love the new seats and think they look great, and for many they will be perfect, just don’t spill anything on them.
1st Porous Leather Is Not Water Resistant or Waterproof.
Porous leather takes fine leather and perforates 50% of it with holes, which deteriorates it's durability.
It basically turns your 100% waterproof Italian Leather protective barrier, into a screen.
Everything from pet & human dandruff to urine and beer will be permanently imbedded in the cushions through these holes, and there is no getting out the odors, or stains.
Because of the breakdown Perforated leather causes, it requires more work to keep it in good shape.
2nd These kinds of seats are made for cars, not homes for a reason.
Why? Because cars are subject to constant weather conditions, that allows quicker drying, and helps keep the smell, mold, and bacteria down.
3rd Since many home theaters are in basements, there can be high moisture, and humidity levels
The basement moisture in combination of dust, liquid & food, pet dander, sweat, pet & baby urine, baby formula, or breast milk.
In time, in a damp environment, bacteria, and mold can build up making your beautiful recliner very unhealthy.
Due to the holes created on perforated leather seats, it tends to trap dirt within it and will require a lot of effort to keep it clean and conditioned.
