This is the first time the Rainbow Road is not appeared an anti gravity section. Instead when you reached the moon, it activates the as an anti-gravity wheel

Best Mario Kart track ever! I love it! This track is a part of my heart, even if it's stupid. I grew up with Mario Kart DS and especially Mario Kart 7. I cry when I listen to the Mario Kart 7 version of the soundtrack and in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe I'm happy that this track exists!

What is your favourite Mario Kart?

It is very hard to pick a favourite game since I absolutely adore them all, but my top 3 are Mario Kart DS, Mario Kart Wii and Mario Kart 8 (specifically 8 and not 8 Deluxe because I like the ballon battle more on the Wii U version, I also really like how you play on race tracks in MK8 as opposed to the dedicated battle courses in 8DX. And the fire hopping of course)

@@gwfun22 nah, playing ballon battle on Moo Moo Meadows and Yoshi Valley is the best. And the rules are different, and better, on Wii U. When you lose all your balloons, you should just be out of the game with however many points you gained during that round, like on Wii U. You should not be able to respawn infinite times and lose half of your points like you do on the Switch version.

I'm gonna be honest, 3DS does it better and I'd expect it to. It fits its own atmosphere a lot better with the colours suiting certain shifts in the music. The custom track is a worthy replication though.
This reminds me of 3D Land vs 3D World - Land feels like it's got a better atmosphere to me but World is far more creative.
