@@humann5682 Boxing on the whole is becoming abject. We rarely get the fights we actually want to see when we want it. I know a lot of them don't make the same amount of money but the ufc is so popular mainly in part because you see the very best fighting each other with more regularity. If we had one centralized professional boxing league where they was paying these guys what they're worth it would be amazing. Less shady stuff would happen too if everyone is scrutinized the same way.
I love Ruiz. Always gotta smile on his face, humble as can be and vicious as they come.

You would expect Ruiz to make short work of him if the work he has put in to get into some kind of reasonable shape pays the expected dividends. Somebody should have shown Ruiz some film of Hasim Rahman just after he won the first Joshua fight. He basically did a Rahman except that he is a better fighter than Rahman ever was.

I love how not only Reynoso is helping Ruiz in his comeback but Canelo is also showing him a couple tricks as well. Ruiz was already a good fighter, him teaming up with them will discipline him and refine him. I see great things for him!
Canelo helps everyone! He is a motivational booster.
Those "tricks" were biased advice that ruined his fighting style in this fight. He actually told him to slow down his punches LOL and to throw one at a time instead of using his gift of fast combos. He will be back to his fighting style next fight.
