    Hello sir,
1st of all funding le or nhi le, depends on business model.
    For example
Ek business h jisko ko sahil sir ke concept se grow hone me 20yrs lgte h joki after 20yrs 2000 cr. Ki value hold krta hai.
2nd think, same business jisko seed funding se grow kia then funding ki help se fast mode me le aate h jiske chalte same business model 7-8yrs me 2000cr ki value hold karta h. Same business ko 12-13 yrs tak aur grow krne dete after 20yrs yahi business 15000-20000cr ki value hold krta h
After diluted, Still you have 30-40% stakes in your company. finally company ko sell kr dete hai. ese me aap ko milte h 5000-6500 cr.
Aap hi btao aap ko kya chahiye 2000cr (value of 100% stakes of Company) or 5000cr (value of 30-40% stakes of Company) Jisse help se kisi achchhe business model par kaam kar skte h. Wo bhi fast mode me😂😂😂.
"Put full-stop on Emotions, Be logical"
Plz Don't forget, Everything is Temporary, Health to wealth
    Love you sahil sir

      Right bro

    • @BishalBiswas13
      @BishalBiswas13 Před 5 lety +6

Absolutely right, and thinking big creates a win-win situation in all case.
With equity funding you accelerate your business and at the same time create more job, this helps in distribution of wealth as well as reduce unemployment.
Think if more Indian try to open startup, and if there are 10k startup opening every 1 year and only 1k survives and get equity funding later, and each one raises 5cr with funding, so we are talking about 5000cr getting invested back in Indian market which helps the economy, at the same time each of these startup generate at least 100 jobs right, so 100k new job vacancies are created(reduces unemployment).
Now consider worse case 90% of these funded startup goes bankrupt then most part of funded 4500cr stays in the market which redistributes wealth from investors pocket (many will be foreign investors) to the Indian market right.
Investors are happy with these number because they know they are taking the risk for getting huge profits from that 10% startup which succeeds.
And lastly, that 100 startup which succeeds adds to the branded company list of India which again helps Indian economy.
All this increases Enterpreneurship in India.

Asset Yogi's opinion seems much more mature than Sahil khanna's. CREATION lives longer than the CREATOR. If we follow Sahil there won't be any OYO, PAYTM etc.
But he's very correct in stating that FUNDING should be treated as a means & not an end which unfortunately is a trend.
Anyways, Thanx a ton to both for bringing such valuable content.

Ritesh Agarwal had a huge huge advantage, of 1 being an underdoag and 2nd the Thiel fellowship program.
Because of this Thiel Fellowship, and ofcourse his brilliant brain and business mind, he was able to convert this underdog business, into a Bull globally. So if someone thinks that Ritesh was a middle class person with almost no money, and similar education, That's not the case. But he was smart enough to play by his strengths.

Sahil bhai me apkey thoughts Ko support karta hu. Agar kisi Insan Ko paise hi kamaney toh iska matlab vo passionate hai hi nahi apney kaam ke liye. Kyu ki app apna sapana paiso ke liye beach dete ho. Bharosa karna chahiye apney business. Himmat honi chaiye or belief hona chahiye kaam karney ke liye. Agar paise hi kamaney hai toh investment banker bano.

I support him however I also understand that you become rich faster through investment from investors. We get profit but we become dependent. Think for long term real long term which is good for self and country as well. Think about billionaire or trillionare like Jeff Bezos

Own funds is a right option for initially funding because all the power in own hand .
But if the business is a large scale business so, business need money to grow so in that case we have to take funding from outside ( sahil isma esa karna bhi thik nhi hoga na ke father or family ne jitna paisa kamaya ha vo laga do ) so, both of you are correct but at some point sahil you also have to think...😊

I am in favour of both as I said start with own funds then funding from public through equity and debts so there is no option to choose in the pool

Thnks Sir, Bahut Accha laga Satart up ke bare mai aapne jo bataya, , Mera manna hai ki Pahle apne paise se hi business ko start karke dekhe ,aur gar business Thuda run hone laga toh another fund le sakte hai, jiski jyada loan ka load bhi nahi parega.

*Maan ke chalo* is the trade mark of Sahil khana and this one was one the best video especially the last point in which they had a debate
We need more meaningful debate like this only then we can understand more about business and startups .
    Great collab

I am agree with him agar aap investor se bahot sara paisa uthaoge vo to uska double lege to kya fayda badme apna business bechne se accha he khud ke dum pe bada karo dheere dheere hoga but bahot achese survive karega

mera organic farming ,medicinal plants, mushroom production ka business h ... i prefer both...,
75% se 95% tk share apne pass hone chaahiye jo hmaare business ki valu ko bnaye rkhne m help kerta h..
management or planing shi hoo to speed me kbhi problem nii aaye gi ..starting me expertise koo value de na ki business size ko bdaane ki or bdaa business kholne ki

Sir agar hume ek bade level pr jana hai to hume equity fund ki zarurat pad sakti hai
Agar humara idea acha hai aur hum dheere dheere growth karenge to phir jiske pass paise honge wo usi business ko bade level pr start kr denge
Aur humara business band ho jayga
To mujhe aisa lagta hai ki equity fund milta hai to hume uska use krke apna naam aur apna business dono bada krna chahiye
