Den platinabelönade rockgruppen Smash Into Pieces har gett ut sju album och fått över en halv miljard samlade strömningar och visningar. Gruppen har kallats en av de snabbast växande svenska rockgrupperna i modern tid.
För närvarande turnerar bandet i Europa, där man har sålt ut konserter i bland annat Amsterdam, Berlin, London och Paris. Bandet har sedan tidigare flertalet avverkade arenaturnéer i både Europa och USA. Framöver kommer man att ge ut en bok och ett nytt album.
Debuten i Melodifestivalen 2023 gav en tredjeplats i finalen, vilket gör Smash Into Pieces till tävlingens bäst placerade band inom metal/hårdrock någonsin och det högst placerade rockbidraget sedan YOHIO år 2013.

Bandet utmärker sig för sin apokalyptiska och cinematiska image och musikstil. Uppföljaren ”Heroes Are Calling” handlar om att finna sin inre superhjälte. Den maskerade trumslagaren APOC beskrivs som bandets ledare och maskot, och med honom som frontfigur vill Smash Into Pieces med sin musik väcka liv i den inre kraft som finns hos varje människa.
Smash Into Pieces bildades 2008, fick skivkontrakt 2013 och slog igenom brett 2017 med sitt tredje album Rise and Shine, där The Apocalypse DJ infördes. Det var till detta album som man etablerade sin nuvarande musikstil, där man blandar rock, electro och pop och benämner resultatet electrorock.
I den tidigare utgivningen har bandets kronologiska musikvideoserie uppmärksammats, där varje låt på gruppens två konceptalbum Arcadia (2020) och A New Horizon (2021) är sammanlänkade i en serie episoder som handlar om den parallella verkligheten Arcadia.

Somehow it's harder to win Melodifestivalen than Eurovision 😂 Dotter in 2020 and Smash Into Pieces 2023 would hands down win Eurovision, but only got second and third in mello
I absolutely LOVE this band. I didn’t know anything about them until I saw Chris Adam filling in with Amaranthe when they were supporting Butcher Babies. His voice is UNREAL. That sh*t is not faked. It is so dense and powerful.
I’ve gotten to see SIP at small clubs in Los Angeles three times now, and it’s always amazing.
Being American, it’s strange for me to see a hard rock band on a competition show. But then again Sweden boasts some absolutely epic metal bands, so I shouldn’t be surprised.
I have no idea how prestigious it is to win this show, but I will always love SIP. Songs like Lullaby, In Need of Medicine, Turn it Down, and so many more bring me a lot of joy.
Chris Adam is one of the few people whose voice is geniuenly better live than in any of the Studio versions. It's insane. I'll go see them live every chance I get just to experience it again.
Saw them live in The Netherlands as well, can confirm. He did a cover of Mad World live and it was goosebumps-level.
Eurovision gives all participants the platform to showcase their music, to be heard. Like Blind Channel in 2021, Smash Into Pieces have to try again to pass the national final. It would be a great opportunity for them. I hope they can do this.

If you look at any melodifestivalen performances basically. It’s all playback. However Smash into pieces don’t need playback. They are amazing live and have awesome sound. I’ve heard them live! Incredible.
But it’s melodifestivalens and Eurovision rules pretty much. That it’s supposed to be playback so it sounds good enough and they can control the music rather than the band and artists.
