tom is so integral 2 the blink overall sound of blink & how it was evolving. it got thrown off so badly when skiba came in, but when these two are together they write so well for each other bc they grew up knowing each other like soul sisters. when mark sings over some ava sounding instrumentals it still feels rooted in their joint experience & natural
This was my 12th time seeing Tom in concert over the last almost 20 years, but the first time I ever got one of his guitar picks and when I tell you I sobbed…… the whole thing was perfect.
The song is ok. It doesn't hit like all of the songs on the “One More Time Album.” I was waiting for them to get to a faster pace & for it to pick up but then it ended… 🤷🏼♂️
Doesn’t need a faster pace or to pick up It’s a nice simple song with a great melody and instrumental that deffo gives it an emotional feel Picking up the pace would kinda ruin that and not every song has to do that
@@dylanburton4955 I hear you. Let me say this then, the song is flat to me. It’s just missing something. Staying in the same flat melody just doesn’t do it for me as far as Blink goes. Like One More Time basically stays in the same same melody but it has certain parts that hit a bit harder when Tom sings etc, Can’t Go Back is missing that.
