I’m still bamboozled that you started the video on Pawnee close to my high school SouthEast high school and then went on to Rock road and Then you got to 21st and Rock and I started panicking thinking you were going to turn onto 21st and get closer to my neighborhood and find my house.😂😂😂 but honestly thx for the scenic driving video of my hometown, I’m still shocked you got so close to my house bc you stayed on Rock all the way from around my high school area to past my house and a lot of other areas in Wichita me and my family go to.
sure miss my home town, you passed by my apartment that I lived in before my husband and I married. we live in Washington state now. If I could go back in time, I sure would. I lost my dad recently. I miss him. I thankful for all the memories but I do wish I could drive around and reminisce. It would be good for my heart and quite healing. I have lived in oklahoma, colorado, california and washington and there is something about wichita that these sought after cities cannot live up to. Nature really never replaces the feeling of visiting an old restaurant you grew up going to or visiting an old friend or your alma mater. I am blessed to see beautiful places. I would love to go to Bella Luna or just drive around and reminisce. 💔
Thanks for sharing. My sister is a big fan of Bella Luna also. Sorry to hear about your Dad's passing. I hope you get the chance to reminisce soon. Not everyone appreciates Wichita, but it does have some charm.
@@joshuaandjacquelynnjones7223 Kansas in general is a great state for the most part to raise a family in. I’m 50 miles north of Wichita, but anytime I need a night on the town, I’m southbound and down on I 135 to Wichita! I spent a great amount of time years ago in Wichita staying with my brother when he was still alive, I miss him like crazy. Are you east or west of the Cascades? I have family in and near Spokane!
I am currently in The Washington Dc are living in Maryland.....Traffic here is brutal.....I have been thinking of Moving to Wichita....Too much going on here
Definetely the way we Germans and Europeans perceive the U.S - broad, broader, wide, wider ENDLESS landscapes, awesome, however, better have a well running car in this part of the world😄Now let´s connect some of your cities with our no -speed limit -autobahns.😅
Wichita traffic in the middle of the night is perfect.. during the day everyone is always in a hurry. But cruising through Wichita in the middle of the night with little to no cars was always enjoyable. Gives you a chance to see the city at your own pace.. Although its night there's something beautiful about it.
That's my feeling. I lived there 28 years, but now live in Tucson and LOVE it. The dry desert, stuff to do, better people and accent, and just an aura.
Wonderful impressions! Can`t await to visit Kansas and I will start at Wichita.

Hay empleos en wichita para latinos?
You should move to oregon because oregon is between california and washington
It is really nice to drive in Wichita as its a lot less traffic than in other bigger cities that's for sure
Only thing that sucks is the occasional traffic jam lol
right in the beginning on the second street you passed the second house over was my old house and i now live in augusta Kansas and i miss my old house
I went to school in augusta. I'm from douglass but live in wichita
It's been 23 years since I left my hometown of Wichita, now living in the most Northern part of Maine.
Well hopefully you enjoyed getting a look back at your hometown. How's Maine?
Traffic is so light there compared to metro Detroit! Must be nice driving…👍
Yup. It's definitely something I appreciate.
Our traffic jams last about an hour. And people still bitch about it here in Wichita.
Not from about 3pm to near 6 on Kellogg (k42) it's all jammed up. Same in the morning

Yeah public transportation isn't good here. 6am-6pm Monday-Saturday
Memories 😢😢😢😢..
Crazy how big Wichita is getting 😮
and it's still growing
Wow that's a lot of signal lights on one signal arm! I live in California and we normally have 3 at the most per intersection!
Soo beautiful ever how I love night driving because drop off motel, clubs, quiet, no people etc thing like that
29:20 Just 3 blocks from my childhood home. (To The North- Right of the video)
Holy Stroads
You passed my house
Isn't Wichita traffic nice most of the time? I have a small channel and am from there
Avoid rush hour on Kellogg and watch out for trains.

1st and 2nd streets one way good alternative to Kellogg. Lived in Wichita 1983
31:36 oops...drag'n Douglas.......
Wichita has gotten very violent
Not really. 🤔 it was worse in the middle 90's when many gangs moved here from the bigger cities
Tho the people fighting in the middle of Kellogg last year was new🤔
Been a long time
Hopefully you enjoyed seeing the sights again.
He doing 50 down broadway going north
Would have been more helpful if you had noted on the screen for example what streets you were on or what part of the city.
Definitely an eastsider
Seems like everyone in the comments USE to live in Wichita but for some reason do not now? Humm- is that a message??
They miss it and search YT for a slice of nostalgia.
Segurp no hay empleos? O es peligroso?
If you dont show the southside your not from the city
Southside here
I heard Wichita have high crimes, Is that right?
This guy is not from wichita for sure
