One mistake in a QM and it's game over, it's brutal!
Yeah it tends to be the case in QM especially when fighting in the higher ranks.

In the North by Northwest video at 5:09 it looks like Autenite is trying out a version of a tactic with rocket troopers. Working out how to destroy an ore (or gem) tile by force firing at it, so that buildings can be placed on top. Some players have figured out (exploit?) how to do this without force-firing at your own troops. If you look at replays on this map, some players can force-fire at an empty tile and remove the ore from the tile they're standing on, which turns into a crater, and then allows placement of a refinery right next to the gems. But for others it seems you need to force-fire at one of your own troops to get the same effect. Either way, on North by Northwest if you can get a refinery right in a compass point, immediately adjacent to the gem patch, you can collect way faster than just placing your refinery at the entrance

I was it little surprised that you did not go for medium tanks in north-by north-west as it is quite a small map.
Players usually go for light tanks because they are produced more quickly on this map.
Is there any chance you can do map specific tips/tactics videos? Like for what the best options are for build direction and ore management from the various spawn points. I can't find anyone else who has already done this. I can't even find a proper list of the QM maps including a picture of the map. So that I can try myself. Maybe someone can help with that second part? Would be amazing!
It is one of the things i would like to do but it is going to take a bit of time.
One question I had is why you don’t engineer rush ever? You can immediately start Tesla’s in opponent base etc…
By the time he would have scouted the enemy base and built 5 engineers and have the power and funds to build tesla's, he most of the times would have been tank rushed himself against an opponent like this, i guess.
