Thanks for doing no nonsense videos! I'm currently going through your list & I appreciate your knowledge. There are so many gimmicky videos, which can be very confusing for newbies like myself! I just got my adult VFT on 5/20. It came with Sphagnum moss, but yesterday, I realized that I had too much water on it! I just ordered some perlite pellets to balance the moisture level out. I'm debating on adding my carnivorous soil to the mix, but I'm on the fence. I just don't want it to be a waste of money, ya know.
I really liked your idea of putting individual plants in Styrofoam cups & I'm gonna do the same soon.
Also, I just subbed a couple of hours ago (#520) and your site was a great help as well.

will it hurt the plant if we feed all the traps at once, how often should it be fed ? thank you for responding by the way on your other vids

Hi! It won't necessarily hurt the plant, but it is not recommended. For best results, feed one trap at a time, once every 3-6 weeks.

Neat video! I'm going to try anyways for aesthetics but I might line the inside with plastic first

Wow, I knew terra-cotta pots are bad for carnivorous plants. I only use plastic containers, however I did see you incorporating Styrofoam cups which I think is GENUIS b/c they're small to start babies and cheap enough to toss! I am very thankful for you, for taking the time out of your day to Post videos on something you're passionate about. B/c of that How can I pay it forward?
You mentioned the TDS meter. Is there a link I can use to purchase the one you have? That way you can get some kind of benefit or reimbursement for advertising it? Some videos I watch, they state if you click the link and purchase said product they receive a portion of the sale. Typically through Amazon. If so, just comment the link on this message!
Thanks again girl, saving VFT’s like woah! Lol 😎😂

Do they need to be fully glazed or is glazed on the outside fine too? I've heard that the hot burning process of glazing is enough to make it not leach any minerals. Maybe you could test that out as well?

Oh god I have had all my CP in (grey) terracotta pots. Maybe that's why some aren't doing too well. My VFT has root rot. I'm letting it try a bit, i already removed some parts but I don't know if I should repot it. It still has its small dormacy traps even though it's outside. But it also tried to flower twice and failed.

How bad terra cotta pots really are depends on the specific pots you are using. To be safe, I recommend avoiding them.
I hope your plant recovers nicely 🙂

So terra pots leaks ppm... Sounds like a Chernobyl for venus flytraps!
