    Wow that jig for turning tapered tenons is genius! You could make another jig to make precise straight tenons too I suppose! 👏🏻

      I used a piece of candle wax to lubricate the plane some. Works a treat. Thanks for watching 👍

    Good video Rob. Is there any wood you wouldn't recommend using for a stick chair?

      Thanks Vic. I've not used anything that I would never use again but then haven't used lots of different woods. I have made some seats using larch which can leak resin in hot weather, which isn't ideal. But any straight grained, strong, hardwood is fair game.
