Boo usually goes back to his cage to do his business, he has even used toilet.
I change his bedding out twice a day, pretty easy clean up. he does have accidents sometimes, but most of the time he goes back to his cage to do it. he gets a treat for doing it, he has figured out he will be rewarded for it.
Boo is the most cooperative and laid back monkey I have seen get a bath. He's like, "Bathe me, you servants of the Capuchin King." Haha
It sooo amazing watching boo its like he's a little humans it still shocks me on how much their like us we have soo many similarities it crazy..its really amazing

I'm an anthropology student and as part of my studies, we have examined primate behavior. One thing we looked at was cases where humans have adopted primates (usually small breeds of monkey) as pets. While they are cute and cuddly, they can also be very dangerous if they are treated the same way you treat a dog or a cat, and generally I wouldn't recommend anyone without proper training and experience to own one of these animals. However, you seem to have bonded with Boo from his youth, and he responds to you with affection and non-aggression. This is an importance dominance role when interacting with other primates that you seem to grasp very well. I'm glad that you take these videos as an opportunity to show the rest of the world the unique personalities of these fascinating mammals, and I hope that observing these little guys interacting in many of the same ways humans do will raise ethical standards in terms of our treatment of these primates in labs and testing facilities, as well as in every facet of life.

Thats smart to use baby shampoo on him. Hes very squirmy so if you accidentally get it in his eyes it wouldn't hurt him like regular shampoo.
A lot of furry animals also rely on oils in their fur to keep themselves moisturized and disease-free so using baby shampoo (which is more diluted) make sure that all of the oils don't get washed out.
Youre such a Good Dad For Boo , Im normally agains People having wild animals as pet but , youre the only exeption ahha
He's very cute but it's a little scary to see a small human face on the body of an animal. His facial expressions, his behavior are so similar to humans. It is not difficult to understand why you speak to him as if he completely understands your every word.

You are really the best pet owner I have ever come across. I am loving your videos! If I didn't already live on a farm with cats, dogs, rabbits, fish, pigs, chickens, goats, cows, horses, etc. you would have inspired me to begin researching these adorable animals. He is quiet literally like your child. I'm sure he is very busy and difficult to keep track of sometimes which is why i feel as though I couldn't have one as a pet... because I'd want to treat him like you do, Boo. Regardless, your videos are adorable. I work at a veterinary practice and we've never had a monkey patient before. What a doll!! Just want you to know that I really love, appreciate, and admire the way you are with Boo. He couldn't have found someone better!

Pete, you are an amazing Monk dad. Watching you bathe Boo with such love and care is wonderful and I think you would make a great teacher for people who have trouble working with their monks. Did Boo always have such an easy time with bathing? It's also great that he is almost potty trained. I would love to do that with my future monk, but it really depends on whether or not he or she shows the same interest or habit going in the same place somewhat regularly.
