  • This beautifully restored locomotive appeared briefly in the East Lancs Railway's stable, before disaster struck and a severe boiler accident caused its demise. Heres hoping its not terminal
Thru its first steamings we follow the loco into sucessful operation.
Visitors from the town where it was built were more than impressed with the standard of restoration, down to owner, Andy Booth and his team of engineers.

Short 15 minutes just give a glimpse of the work that keeps this treasures of the past running. Thank you for this excellent video, Hugh.
And an extra hug to Tuffy from me and Jojo.

Thanks for sharing this Hugh. She looks and sounds a great loco and is a true part of our heritage. It's some time since the disaster last May Hugh which must have been heartbreaking for those involved with the restoration so is there any news of work restarting on the Firebox? I do hope we haven't seen the last of her for too long though the Ribble Steam Railway site (updated this month) does not suggest any work is currently taking place. Best wishes for the 2012. Chris
