Barry and the guys always deliver the goods! Barry has a voice and style that I could listen to all day. Nice rendition and arrangement of this Paul Carrack classic. I did struggle to hear the drums as they didn’t punch through. Otherwise a great performance and production. 👊🇨🇦

Absolutely flawless rendition, but nobody captures the magic of this song by expanding on the original recording, I think Paul Carrack even loses the magic when he plays it live (I've seen him 5 times live with his band) and he rounds edges off and alters the feel, the record was a masterpiece of subtlety. I know people will slag me for this and Paul must be fed up of singing it after 50 years but the original recording was perfection .
Interesting observation David, I sort of agree considering it only has one verse !
Can’t step in the same river twice .. sometimes, don’t want to. I enjoy every iteration of a good song,if it’s done well.
