    hello! i see on the website that there are different prices for low-price single, regular single and premium single. likewise, it’s different for regular, large, premium double. could you share what are the differences exactly between the 3? isit the location of the rooms or are there any other differences?

    • @rachel_lin
      @rachel_lin  Před rokem

      Hi! This website breaks down the differences for the regular vs premium IHouse rooms - ihouse.berkeley.edu/resident-life/apply-live-here/room-and-floor-descriptions.
      From my understanding, the premium rooms will be a little bigger than the regular rooms which explains the price difference. On the website, it says for the Large and Premium Double rooms, they have all of the same furnishings as a regular Double, but they have enough floor space so the beds are not bunk beds. Hope this helps!

    The bathrooms are cleaned regularly? Are they convenient to use or is it an uncomfortable experience at first?

    • @rachel_lin
      @rachel_lin  Před 3 lety

      Yes, they are cleaned regularly! It may be a little awkward at first when everyone is just moving in and nobody knows each other yet, but after the first few weeks then nobody cares!

    Hi, I am a Spanish student and I am actually on my junior year. I am very interested in applying to UC Berkeley next year, so
    I got really excited when I saw Guillermo and Rafa (also Spanish) actually studying in this university. On the other hand, my parents cannot afford to pay everything so I need financial aid, but I think as Berkeley is a public institution, they don’t offer scholarships for international students (please correct me if I am wrong). So I would really like to know how Guillermo and Rafa are financing their studies (if they got a scholarship, where is the scholarship from, etc). Thank you Rachel.

      Hi Pablo, aw yay I'm glad you enjoyed the video! Guillermo was also a part of my International Student Q&A video, which may be helpful to check out: czcams.com/video/chOAEdaNWWs/video.html. Also, there is a scholarship that the UC schools provide, which is talked about in this video: czcams.com/video/QKYkQJbk21g/video.html. If questions about finances are not answered in these videos, you can find Guillermo (guillermopu) and Rafa (rafagraciani) on Instagram! Thanks for watching :) Good luck with your college applications!

      Does this happen often like you mentioned?
      Are there any curfew time or regulations regarding noise?
      Is this place safe for female?
      Are there any other suggestions?
      Thank you very much in advance.
