11:01 Overview
Overall I will be going with the Maono AU PM422 (Has zero latency monitoring unlike 421 in video) as it meets my needs, is affordable, has touch screen mute, and gain knob! Such a steal! If your looking for even cheaper I’d recommend T-669 over the neewer and TC-777 as it sounds less “tinnier” and has less room noise!
If you don’t want the entire kit for the T669 it is sold separately as the K669 for $44
P.S. To mute the T669 you can turn the knob all the way down :)
Check the description ;)

AU PM422 there is sound in both ears in your headset when you use no latency monitor?
I guess im asking randomly but does any of you know a method to log back into an Instagram account??
I stupidly lost the password. I appreciate any assistance you can offer me.

Dude, this is excatly what people looking to buy a USB mic are looking for.. Sooo beautifully done. Thanks

100% agreed. I did a lot of research browsing amazon, and looking at videos, but i only knew which mic I wanted after this vid

Thank you very much for making such an awesome and in-depth comparison! I really enjoy your video! 👍👍
Nice in-depth, full review! Thank you so much!
I really love how you took your time and explained each microphone in its entirety! This was an awesome video, you've gain a new #subbie!
Right to the point: testing ! Amazing content. I’m subscribed
What a great review, you answered all my questions about mics! 👍🏼 🎤
Get excited about your comparison test! Very helpful and informative video!!
Glad to hear it!
Thanks so much for your thorough and methodical review... and the clearly two step approach.. So much effort and benefit the viewer so much. Wish you further success on your channel.. Great job, and definitely great help to me personally
Great video man, love how you went back and played all audios side to side
Appreciate it!!
I have an ASMR channel and in 2020 for Christmas, I bought myself the Fifine T699 and I am totally in love with it! the only thing I wish I considered was that this did not have the Left to right ear option it was full sound directed to both ears at the same time. and I know in ASMR the ear to ear is also very appealing. But other than that I love the mic and have already recorded a few videos this 2021 using it. Thanks for this video cause you saved me a ton of cash which helped me get reinspired to film again!
Hey hun! I need to order the same mic but I was wondering if it comes out with headphones!! Please tell me more details thank you 😘
Hey i am certified Hypnotherapist so i need to Go for light sensitive sounds and ASMR too....
So would this mic be oky
if you edit on premiere pro you can manually adjust the sound levels so that certain sounds come out on left and some are on the right :) there's probably a tutorial how to do it on yt xx
Yeah that's called a stereo mic. It blows my mind all these people recommending mics who don't talk about stereo and mono and they still recommend mono mics lol.
Thank you!!!💜 This video is just what I needed!
Finally someone who is describing their mic set-up for asmr...and not talking in asmr mode!
Thank you! this was very helpful
Thank you for a thorough review
Hi there, this was an awesome comparison man. I'm curious, between the K-678 and the Blue Yeti blackout edition, which one would you pick and why?

Hi, thank you very much for this helpful video, i'd like to ask you something, how did you get rid of fifine k678's self noise? The recording from it in this video js so clear!!! I wish mine could sound like yours...
Great video brother
5:05 dude! i'm on the hunt for a microphone for my microphone. lol kidding aside, great job with the comparison. i like your style.
talking about mics specifically in the context of asmr, I believe a focused test of their stereo capabilities is kinda a key point in the discussion, so.... would you consider doing that at some point?
What mic would you pick fifine t669 or samson q2u?
how are you able to hear yourself in real-time? do the mics have live monitoring features or are you using an audio interface?
I'm monitoring myself live through garage band on my Macbook
I have the Rode NT-USB Mini and it's the best microphone for under 100 dollars I've ever heard I bought it last year and it was 99 dollars back then. I don't know all the models shown in the video, but this was interesting, thank you for sharing.
Great to hear!
Which mic should I pick in this list if I were to use it in a podcast?
been using the fifine k678 for awhile now and I use it during online jamming it picks up my voice and guitar quite well if the mic location is right
Thanks mate!!!!
got the tonor tc-777 for 36$ usd very very good for the money beats any headset mic

I think he used GarageBand, not sure but that's the most likely
Just ordered my t669
Hello people the internet, After watching this video both the Fifine t660 and the Moano AU PM421 intrigued me. But I have heard certain bad reviews on the Finfine one. But most people like it. Which one should I buy?
I got the NW-7000 kit for a bit less than 30 USD on AliExpress sale
very helpful video. Im looking for an USB microphone because i don't want that hizzzz background noise. If you have any cheaper recommendation it doesn't need to be usb, but i record videos on my laptop
Glad you liked it.
I got the k669b from fifine under 30 US dollars the other day. Same mic, different stand and a hard wired usb connection ..
i got the Maono AU PM422 and i can tell that it's one of my best orders, all my friends were greatly surprised and tell me that it gives me an even deeper voice, and using VoiceMeeter, the mic sounds even better !!!!
Hows it holding up? Its basically the better version of the AU PM421 right?
@@stepz1876 it's the same but the AU PM422 got a tactile mute button very responsive, it's so usefull, just touch the button and you're muted, don't need to go in settings and mute the mic

Hi, I’m a little late on this video 😅 I just have a question. Specifically in the moano or the cheaper fifine, can it work on a console such as PlayStation? Also, will it work on a computer? (Specifically chrome book) thanks man, I appreciate it. Great vid!
K678 works on PS4/PS5. But the downside is that if you plug the headset into controller, PS4 input and output will change to controller automatically. Thus, You are supposed to split the microphone feature from headset with a 3.5mm Female to 2 Male adapter, or simply use the earbuds which has two loops on its connector, then you're good to go.
As for the second question, the K678 will work on a chrome book.
I dont wanna buy the hyper x quad cast but with that first one at 100 i almost dont know why i dont just pay 130-140 for the hyper x one.. Cool vid btw thanks for the info
which is better? Fifine T669B or Sudotack st800?
maono au 903 or maono pm422 or fifine k678 which is the best??
I really needed to know if each of these has a headphone jack for latency-free monitoring while recording??
Not all of them, but some of them :) check out links in the description for more info.

Do you think it's better?
@@aa.ndr3w334 yep way better
How can I clean a type of microphone like the fifine k678? That have an inner pop up filter
is the maono microphone's gain too quiet for use when its not close to your mouth?
You also have to remember you all are going to be using compressors, limiters, noise gate and eq's. I have the neewer 7000 and its decent when you have filters on it.
Stuck between the two Fifine microphones. Mainly because the K678 has the headphone jack and mute button (plus nice design), but the T669 has the boom bar and needed accessories which is what makes it tie with the other. At the time i made the comment the K is 65 USD and the T is 62 USD
Hi there, sorry for catching sight of your comment late. It's not a difficult decision because it mainly depends on your application. If you're a gamer most of the time, then the accessories of the T669 will mean more to you than the features on K678. But if you want a mic to be a dedicated recording device, the K678 is a better choice for you. Not just because of the controls and monitoring feature, but also the better sound quality, the more rounded low ends and more natural highs.
Test the samson go mic please !
Which mic is good for singing?

What mic will be best for a hydraulic press channel with AsMr crushing
I am very new to mics. Is there any special hardware or software to achieve the sounds that you can hear in this video. Or is it simply plug in the usb and you get that quality?
that was just plug in and record. :)
the fifine k678 is 60 dollars now so is it now the best option to consider?
Thankyou
bruv what is the best mic for storytelling??
Thank you in advance
I'm no tech guy, but to my ears, the Fifine K-678 has the warmest, richest, juiciest sound. (Perfect for my voice.) It does pick up background noise, so that's a little tough.
The Fifine T-669 probably has the next best sound. Not nearly as buttery as the K-678, but the most "balanced" out of the remaining mics.
The Maono is definitely not on the same level, but it's still pretty good. I do hear background noise as well as a strange "resonance." I can't tell if that's feedback or something else. Not sure what to make of that.
Surprisingly, though the Neewer NW-7000 has a very high, "tinny" sound and lacks pickup for low tones, I actually prefer it to the Tonor TC-777. Overall, the Neewer represents the voice more faithfully than the Tonor.
The Tonor TC-777 makes the voice sound less human, as if one is speaking through a filter, similar to what happens when making sounds through tissue paper. It picks up low tones better than the Neewer, but it "distorts" or "transforms" the voice in a way that I don't think is pleasant.
So... the winner, from the options in this group, would hands down be the hot, sultry Fifine K-678, with the nicely balanced T-699 coming in at a slightly distant second.
Do you think it'll be good for asmr? i mean, the K678. is it the best mic among the mics in the video for asmr? I rlly need help from others
@@thom_baga That's exactly what I'm hoping, and I'm probably gonna try it out, as the price has dropped significantly. $70 on Amazon.
@@dancingshiva7008 oh wow! Thank you
@@thom_baga im super late, but the FIFINE K690 is about 90$ and has 4 polar pattern modes, including stereo (which is good for asmr) so I recommend that for asmr
also the K678 is about 50 rn on amazon c:
Which one is better fifine 678 or maono?
K678 is currently priced about the same as newer T683 kit (upgraded T669).
K678 prices dropped after launch of newer K690.
T683 now comes with the same features as K678 such as Mute button, 3.5mm jack, etc. and the extra Boom Arm in the kit helps keeping the microphone at the apt distance.
While Amazon reviews state that K678 without the Boom arm is hard to record with as it needs to be kept within 6" to 8" from mouth.
Can you help me in deciding which one to get T683 or K678?
Also, not sure about the bit depth 24bit/16bit.
I am looking to record vocals and guitar with the microphone.

hello, very nice video! I do sport voiceover, with a very loud and "sporty" voice (as you can hear in soccer commentary). could the tonor be the right choice since the others seem to be way too sensitive? I mean I really need to speak close to the mic and not getting anything clipped. Also, I need a USB mic to connect to my MacBook pro. If you eventually can suggest to me some products other than the tonor I'd be very thankful. Cheers from Italy!
All mics work in that scenario, coz you can always gain them down on your recording software to get less noise. Always better to gain down than up.
If you don't want the audio clipped, try using some kind of compressor/limiter as you're recording. :)

yes you can especially the fifine. all you need is usb adapter to connect in your device
@@webdevil6354 oh awesome! thank you!
Hi there. If you are talking about the FIFINE K678 or FIFINE T669, then the answer is yes. But we recommend using the microphone only with Windows and Mac computers. If you want to use it with a smartphone and tablet for recording, you will need a suitable USB adapter. But you can only hear playback after you unplug the mic. So even if your iPad has a headphone jack, the mic and headphone will still not work at the same time.
@@FIFINE Thank you very much!!
I'm getting the Fifine K678 It actually did great! how about the noise canceling of that microphone? is it good?
i owned it for a week, it depends on what do you mean. background noise as in hissing? you might need a windscreen
Generally speaking, it won't pick up a lot background noise due to the cardioid pick-up pattern. But if unfortunately you still get some noise, please follow the instructions below. Set the volume dial below 50% if you're in a noisy room and the noise cant get rid of, such as the sound from fans or air-condition. Next, set computer input at around 80%. At last, the speaking range is another aspect that makes the great difference. Keep the mic 3-5 inches away from mouth, the closer the better.
@@FIFINE does T669 work with phone using otg? Please tell
