Shivers and seals are not equally effective. In nearly all cases the RN-Seal outperforms the Shiver 1 for 1. The golden Ratio is 2 RN-Seals for 1 Shiver. The only cases where this is NOT true is the Gravastar which is 1 RN Seal to 3 Shivers, and the Nothung which is 0 RN-Seals and as many Shivers as you can muster (2 to 3).
I don't understand the hate for autocannons. I have 3 fuzed for damage therms on a fuzed Harpy, and it absolutely shreds in its PS. No better medium range brawler. Weapons,parts,shit,and ass goes flying as opponents panic and try to turn and run. I have roughly the same build with 3 fuzed for damage storms that are excellent at range for chipping away weapons and armor. I have a strange addiction to the medians,which is autocannon, cannon hybrid. They are tough to play with to be sure,but mine are fuzed for damage and 25% projectile speed. Use a hot rod and gorilla legs,gives accuracy while stationary and strafing, at a lower PS.If you can stay at distance its a ton of fun. Definitely not meta whatsoever but if you like sniping,its as good as it gets
Watched the entire video even though I didn't expect to, very helpful video. Although I'm amazed that sledgehammers are still so good, because I'm having 0 luck with them.
With shotguns you need to play different, either attack isolated op. Or build your car to receive abuse but still fast and you'll run through the battle field stripping weapons off the op. Shotguns are busted but you need to build for it. Howler cabin is good bet but you need built for abuse as you're going to be drawing fiire.
Fused blue visor (scope) gives you over 8x zoom great for Storm builds at 3-5,5k PS. 3k PS for 2x Storms and 5,5k PS for 3x Storms. They are pretty insane if you want to aim at guns of bots across the map that just sit there with their cannons trying to hit you or just B-lining toward the middle of the map you can strip them or deal serious damage before anyone else even gets in their effective ranges. Also for farming fuel it's one of the best builds if not the best build at it's PS, because to get the fuel you need to survive and if you fight at mid to long ranges you will be the last man standing in most games, either you carry and win with the fuel or you lose, but almost all games you win you get the fuel as well as many MVPs because storms are insane. While weapon stripping is a fair point for the Storm, which is as I have said multiple times across multiple videos, the shining high-point of the center line of auto cannons, the issue comes down to when players get involved and close that gap. I'll do a weapon tier list update eventually and cover some of this, especially since the buffs to the Stillwind made it more than viable.
I think that I'm forced to agree with you. Once again, not because I personally have had good experiences with the weapon, but because I keep getting feedback saying that they're good =P

The strongest stripping teals are the Sinus-0, followed by the Median. Sinus-0's on a hover allow you to poke off parts consistently and is hit-scan. Medians are the lowest tier "Sniper" weapon and similarly punch parts off in bursts over great distances but are not hit-scan. A middle ground, but a 3rd place, would be the AC50 Storm as it has a more consistent punch than the Median, but also has a projectile velocity you have to deal with, but does more damage and has more hitpoints than the Sinus-0. Finally a distant 4th is the Summator - doing partial charge shots gives you shotgun-like damage over potentially far greater distance. Landing consistent shots with this gun will absolutely strip parts, but has a projectile velocity and needs to be charged, which can limit snap-shot potential greatly.

I got an incinerator finally, now it's on almost all my builds, the remedy is good but only with blight cab. I have the perk on the remedy trigger so they activate together. Also atitlan if you can get her perk sends all fire weapons through the roof, I used wasp until I got the better one. Strong combination with remedy. It's a tier list so naturally we viewers have our tactics that change the value of our own lists, that said I think you're on point with this list.

Great video. Regarding the Thresher and Impulse I have to disagree with you as I am finding them to be very deadly. Also you will need the Impulse to make Retchers so that's something to consider. I use a low PS Thresher/Impulse build with a few large ammo boxes and I'm here to say I get MVP almost every time. That combo also works for Raids as well. Granted the Retcher is a better weapon but until you can make them, don't count out the Thresher and Impulse as viable options. Also the Thresher and Impulse have a longer range than the Retcher so if anything they will prep you for Retcher Use later in the game as one progresses. I get bored with duel Retchers and find myself going back to the Thresher/Impulse build to mix things up. The Thresher runs low on ammo fast hence the reason I say I use a few large, fused, ammo boxes. My Impulse has close to 500 rounds, have yet to ever run out, while the Thresher has about 374ish and many times my Thresher runs out of ammo despite picking up ammo cache during raids. The Thresher spits out grenades' fast, almost too fast, so keep an eye on your ammo reserves.
So I will say this: A grenade launcher is a grenade launcher. The Emily has the highest projectile velocity of any grenade launcher, the GL-55 and the Thresher are similar (ever since they buffed the Thresher soon after its release), and the Retcher has the slowest. Being hit by a blast weapon hurts: So You're not wrong - grenade launchers (even the Emily) are deadly. The issue is they aren't really something new players should aim for. The Thresher isn't bad - it's actually almost too good, but it has the LOWEST damage per grenade of any grenade launcher - it has to be maximum stacks on its perk to deal the same damage per grenade as the other launchers, which is kind of a problem for it. Ultimately - don't listen to me if you're doing something that you find fun =D I have tons of builds that I use that aren't "meta" or a "Staple" - rule of cool; if you found a build that works for you, let it rock my man =P
@@justsomeone5148 The Impulse has the most ammo reserves and shots a bit slower so 2 Large Ammo boxes min, more if you can manage it. The Thrasher fires way too fast, so 3 is a min, and more large ammo boxes if you can manage it. Small ammo boxes are useless for these weapons as they don't provide much; but if it's all you've got, then use as many as you can. My raid builds usually run upwards of 400 rounds min, and you can pick ammo up along the way. PvP builds, is a risk with Ammo Boxes but you need them, so easily 3 or more. PvE builds easily 4 or more because there's no refills on Patrols and the bots don't aim for Ammo Boxes the way cheaters with Aimbots will... Hope this helps...
I'm gonna be honest, I have a couple of weapons you said were bad. Some I really like, the adapter and proms V for example. I have fused quasar and they slap like a truck, the remedy I have 3 fused but it's indeed underwelming. Personally I also like the astraeus, only if you get rushed you going back to the garage. I feel like it depends on the person and what they like playing, but some weapons are straigh @ss.
I think my Tier list explains my points better. The Adapter isn't "bad", but it is a reloading weapon that has a projectile velocity. If you play into those things (using a reload cabin like the Echo) then the DPS can really spike, but it's a bit niche. The Prometheus does good damage and WITH the Power Unit is formidable, and like the Adapter it's a reload weapon without ammunition with projectile velocity, but when compared to the Helios it is extremely interior. The Astraeus is almost no different from any other crossbow with its extremely high single target damage, but the perk attempts to strip the weapon from your build for no reason. It is, however, in every way, shape, and form superior to the Assembler.

I totally agree with you and your list, my comment wasn't meant to contradict your list. Was just sharing my experience with some of the weapons that are less used or just rank lower in the list. I did forget to mention that I use them with the Catalina cabin, that is e important detail I left out. That cabin makes every weapon strong tbh. The astraeus I use mounted in the ermak cabin itself, I just love the wat you can pop ppl with one shot . I have 3 spectre as well and love them just as much as the rest purely because of the Catalina cabin.

The Wyvern is in a super great spot right now, actually. 11 energy and more mass limit and tonnage than the Growl with a decent top speed of 80 kph - golden.

I was thinking of the Werewolf cabin, and thought not only is it weak, but that it also doesnt make sense thematically with the name. When I think werewolf, I think either berserker or mode switching. If I couldn't redo it from the ground up, I'd replace the fuse drone with just making the explosion of your vehicle bigger and higher damage, that way, you are almost guaranteed a trade if you arent sniped. Suddenly, lance builds just turned into a two for one.
Well, if you reworked it to, instead of dropping a fuse drone, cause a self-destruction upon cabin destruction - that would be a HUGE upgrade. If you wanted something name-based (to match the name Werewolf) perhaps innate damage reduction to the cabin of all damage types EXCEPT bullet (silver-bullets being the werewolf's weakness).

This and a market guide. I needed both when i started playing crossout. I loved the auto cannons but crossout hates them. Shotguns shouldn't even be in an armored vehicle game. War thunder doesn't have shotguns and thats a good thing.
@@cardboardninja2429 mostly used on incin but can be used on most wedges or KTMs. The reason is that Omni’s are the only ‘wheel’ that can strafe, so you can use leg mode and still strafe.
Wang isn’t that imbalanced, spark and flash instantly hard counter it, and the weapon will instantly strip itself if you even touch the fire button while being sparked. This weakness is exasperated exponentially too by the fact that the wang is mostly commonly used in close quarters as a more of a ‘dog’ type build. Making it the only dog build that can be completely and instantly shut down by a single spark. No other gun in the game has this big of a weakness except for missile launchers. Also Argus easy counters the wang too, although 1 Argus will only negate 1 volley, but likewise if you are within 30m of a Wang and deploy your Argus, if they shoot they will very easily instantly strip off their own gun lol.
Ehhhh... So if you come across a spark or flash you typically just boost away (since most wangs are booster wangs) and attempt to get a hit from an odd-angle where the spark/flash is blocked by the opponent's build. Ultimately the Yongwang hits harder than many Legendary and Relic weapons, which is why I believe it to be over-tuned at this point.
@@cardboardninja2429 Eh, to be honest, I’ve never seen a booster build that can run away from my spark after they’ve already approached me first. Maybe they can get away from Flash, but since the Spark is 50% stronger at slowing a vehicle than the flash is, I’ve never seen a booster build get away from my Spark. I do agree it’s strong for a purple, but not as strong as any relic currently. It hits hard, but is also more flimsy than retchers. 400ish total weapon durability in a single huge target is a huge detriment, equivalent to running 4 Sinuses all clustered in the same spot. Not even counting the multiple ways to easily counter it. The only times I can see it as stronger than Relics, is in Levi wars. However, that is 1 very specific game mode (that many clans even resent existing in the first place) and extremely niche, so I don’t think I weapon should be evaluated based off that limited mode very much at all.
I don't actually need most of this info, but enough effort has gone in that I'll sub anyway Although the autocannon skip wounds me, as I have many hundreds of hours playing just them, I've grown to accept I'm just very practiced with an unliked weapon.
Sanguine, you're not alone my friend. When I started out I was using tap fire machine guns. I hated cannons so I figured that I was going to go all in on the machine guns UNTIL I used the Rapier... at like 2k powerscore. The Rapier was so effective that I thought it was the perfect balance of tap fire machine gun and cannon! But then I got higher powerscore... and cannons took over the mid/long range. The rest is sadly history.
to this date are the Ml200’s bad? i’ve been grinding the hell out of the basic pvp mode to get my first Ml200 today, wondering wether i should just grind for big ram instead
ML200's are still not good. They got better, but no better than they were before if you were using the Steppe Spider cabin before. Big Ram legs are still where it's at!

Sorry for the late reply - The Thresher is not a bad gun, and if you plan on using it, it will do nicely; make use of it's geometry as it can be protected in ways that you wouldn't expect (in fact I had a build that was a Ghost/Thresher build...). As for the Ghost cabin, in general it's always best to buy parts when they're cheap; as for USING the ghost make sure you have the Chameleon or it doesn't have a perk at all. Ultimately I do have a cabin tier-list out there if you want my thoughts on the cabins, but for right now the Ghost can still strugglebus because it isn't very fast, and still has some awkward geometry to work with.
I would have sworn I said that the AC72 (at the time of the video) was the best of the middle class of Autocannons... This was before the 2 buffs to the Stillwind and the Catalina, of course.
I can't tell you what the exploit is for Augers and Omni wheels - I believe there's some policy out there where you're not supposed to... But let's just say if someone is determined enough in a game with infinite diversity they'll figure it out =P
HAHA, i remember a friend getting MVP with lupara cockpit booster around those PS. It's insane how good low tier shotguns stacks. Since the playstyle relies on damage evasion and quick attacks, the gun HP matters little if you're careful...High tier shotguns just gives more room for error/reliability

The long story short the answer is the Photon. The most powerful energy weapons are the ones that heat your opponent (Destructor / Gravastar) and deal 130% damage to heated parts makes you deal so much more damage it's ridiculous... Though with the upcoming changes to the Pulsar I can definitely see the Photon comin' up.
I went to the exhibition search meat grinder and Omni. Wow one vehicle came up and it was dumb with a bunch of different movement parts. So I don't have any idea how this piece of junk is an exploit. Thanks for the tip! Lol
While I don't see an exploit in this I do see a potential neat build using meat grinders and shiv wheels letting them spin on the sides and putting the meat grinders inside. So just walk sideways and with four or five shivs on each side. Pair this with whatever weapons and theoretically could be nasty. I'm gonna try it.
The KA-2 Flywheel provides double the bonus of the KA-1 Discharger (at the time of the making of this video) for the same energy. At this point in time it still provides 50% more of a bonus (20% vs 15%) at the same energy cost. Investing in the KA-1 Discharger is setting yourself up for failure only because if you're using a reloading weapon you are typically pushing for the fastest reload possible - considering we have multiple cabins that push the reloading to the limit already.
LIES THE FIDGET RIPS IF YOU PLAY FAST-PACED... Also you need 2seals and a fused chill to be monstrous do I should probably admit to being a dog build user
So here's the deal - I loved my Fidgets, but they're just not as large as an upgrade from the Piercer that they need to be. They have the least hitpoints of any epic machine gun, and they have one of the larger hitboxes plus the perks is a bit lackluster. I never sold them, though - I finally after years upgraded them into Imps.

It depends on how your build is set up with the guns - They're VERY small, a 2x2 base and very protectable.

My raid builds usually run upwards of 400 rounds min, and you can pick ammo up along the way. PvP builds, is a risk with Ammo Boxes but you need them, so easily 3 or more. PvE builds easily 4 or more because there's no refills on Patrols and the bots don't aim for Ammo Boxes the way cheaters with Aimbots will... Hope this helps...

I'm gonna be honest, I have a couple of weapons you said were bad. Some I really like, the adapter and proms V for example. I have fused quasar and they slap like a truck, the remedy I have 3 fused but it's indeed underwelming.
Personally I also like the astraeus, only if you get rushed you going back to the garage. I feel like it depends on the person and what they like playing, but some weapons are straigh @ss.
I think my Tier list explains my points better.
The Adapter isn't "bad", but it is a reloading weapon that has a projectile velocity. If you play into those things (using a reload cabin like the Echo) then the DPS can really spike, but it's a bit niche.
The Prometheus does good damage and WITH the Power Unit is formidable, and like the Adapter it's a reload weapon without ammunition with projectile velocity, but when compared to the Helios it is extremely interior.
The Astraeus is almost no different from any other crossbow with its extremely high single target damage, but the perk attempts to strip the weapon from your build for no reason. It is, however, in every way, shape, and form superior to the Assembler.

I totally agree with you and your list, my comment wasn't meant to contradict your list. Was just sharing my experience with some of the weapons that are less used or just rank lower in the list. I did forget to mention that I use them with the Catalina cabin, that is e important detail I left out. That cabin makes every weapon strong tbh. The astraeus I use mounted in the ermak cabin itself, I just love the wat you can pop ppl with one shot .
I have 3 spectre as well and love them just as much as the rest purely because of the Catalina cabin.

@@cardboardninja2429 Heres a question. How would you rework some of these? I was thinking of the Werewolf cabin, and thought not only is it weak, but that it also doesnt make sense thematically with the name. When I think werewolf, I think either berserker or mode switching. If I couldn't redo it from the ground up, I'd replace the fuse drone with just making the explosion of your vehicle bigger and higher damage, that way, you are almost guaranteed a trade if you arent sniped. Suddenly, lance builds just turned into a two for one.
Well, if you reworked it to, instead of dropping a fuse drone, cause a self-destruction upon cabin destruction - that would be a HUGE upgrade.
If you wanted something name-based (to match the name Werewolf) perhaps innate damage reduction to the cabin of all damage types EXCEPT bullet (silver-bullets being the werewolf's weakness).

Double Mastodon / Echo is a solid bully build, even dragged to low PS using them as armor!
This and a market guide. I needed both when i started playing crossout. I loved the auto cannons but crossout hates them. Shotguns shouldn't even be in an armored vehicle game. War thunder doesn't have shotguns and thats a good thing.

That seems kind of counterintuitive - is this for an incinerator?
@@cardboardninja2429 mostly used on incin but can be used on most wedges or KTMs. The reason is that Omni’s are the only ‘wheel’ that can strafe, so you can use leg mode and still strafe.
Wang isn’t that imbalanced, spark and flash instantly hard counter it, and the weapon will instantly strip itself if you even touch the fire button while being sparked. This weakness is exasperated exponentially too by the fact that the wang is mostly commonly used in close quarters as a more of a ‘dog’ type build. Making it the only dog build that can be completely and instantly shut down by a single spark.
No other gun in the game has this big of a weakness except for missile launchers. Also Argus easy counters the wang too, although 1 Argus will only negate 1 volley, but likewise if you are within 30m of a Wang and deploy your Argus, if they shoot they will very easily instantly strip off their own gun lol.

So if you come across a spark or flash you typically just boost away (since most wangs are booster wangs) and attempt to get a hit from an odd-angle where the spark/flash is blocked by the opponent's build.
Ultimately the Yongwang hits harder than many Legendary and Relic weapons, which is why I believe it to be over-tuned at this point.
@@cardboardninja2429 Eh, to be honest, I’ve never seen a booster build that can run away from my spark after they’ve already approached me first. Maybe they can get away from Flash, but since the Spark is 50% stronger at slowing a vehicle than the flash is, I’ve never seen a booster build get away from my Spark.
I do agree it’s strong for a purple, but not as strong as any relic currently. It hits hard, but is also more flimsy than retchers. 400ish total weapon durability in a single huge target is a huge detriment, equivalent to running 4 Sinuses all clustered in the same spot. Not even counting the multiple ways to easily counter it.
The only times I can see it as stronger than Relics, is in Levi wars. However, that is 1 very specific game mode (that many clans even resent existing in the first place) and extremely niche, so I don’t think I weapon should be evaluated based off that limited mode very much at all.

When I started out I was using tap fire machine guns. I hated cannons so I figured that I was going to go all in on the machine guns UNTIL I used the Rapier... at like 2k powerscore.
The Rapier was so effective that I thought it was the perfect balance of tap fire machine gun and cannon! But then I got higher powerscore... and cannons took over the mid/long range. The rest is sadly history.

ML200's are still not good. They got better, but no better than they were before if you were using the Steppe Spider cabin before.

Sorry for the late reply - The Thresher is not a bad gun, and if you plan on using it, it will do nicely; make use of it's geometry as it can be protected in ways that you wouldn't expect (in fact I had a build that was a Ghost/Thresher build...).
As for the Ghost cabin, in general it's always best to buy parts when they're cheap; as for USING the ghost make sure you have the Chameleon or it doesn't have a perk at all. Ultimately I do have a cabin tier-list out there if you want my thoughts on the cabins, but for right now the Ghost can still strugglebus because it isn't very fast, and still has some awkward geometry to work with.

HAHA, i remember a friend getting MVP with lupara cockpit booster around those PS. It's insane how good low tier shotguns stacks. Since the playstyle relies on damage evasion and quick attacks, the gun HP matters little if you're careful...High tier shotguns just gives more room for error/reliability

Photon or quantum?
The long story short the answer is the Photon. The most powerful energy weapons are the ones that heat your opponent (Destructor / Gravastar) and deal 130% damage to heated parts makes you deal so much more damage it's ridiculous...
Though with the upcoming changes to the Pulsar I can definitely see the Photon comin' up.

I went to the exhibition search meat grinder and Omni. Wow one vehicle came up and it was dumb with a bunch of different movement parts. So I don't have any idea how this piece of junk is an exploit. Thanks for the tip! Lol
While I don't see an exploit in this I do see a potential neat build using meat grinders and shiv wheels letting them spin on the sides and putting the meat grinders inside. So just walk sideways and with four or five shivs on each side. Pair this with whatever weapons and theoretically could be nasty. I'm gonna try it.

The KA-2 Flywheel provides double the bonus of the KA-1 Discharger (at the time of the making of this video) for the same energy. At this point in time it still provides 50% more of a bonus (20% vs 15%) at the same energy cost.
Investing in the KA-1 Discharger is setting yourself up for failure only because if you're using a reloading weapon you are typically pushing for the fastest reload possible - considering we have multiple cabins that push the reloading to the limit already.

So here's the deal - I loved my Fidgets, but they're just not as large as an upgrade from the Piercer that they need to be.
They have the least hitpoints of any epic machine gun, and they have one of the larger hitboxes plus the perks is a bit lackluster.
I never sold them, though - I finally after years upgraded them into Imps.
