Hello
I just want to ask about a certain traffic light I came across that confused me. You see, I was driving along and stopped at an intersection wanting to turn left but I found that there was a separate arrow lights (that had 2 lights) was detached from the main traffic signal. I waited for the signal to turn green but then I realized that the arrow light, which was red turned blank, so I thought that was time to turn but as I looked back in my rear-view mirror, I saw cars were still stopped. What should I have done? I assume I just made a mistake and wasn't meant to go.

Hi Vikas, thank you for your video, it was super helpful. I had a quick question on turnings where there is arrow and normal lights and the normal lights turn green and the arrow disappears what to do at such junction? when is it safe to turn left or right in such case?

Hi Vikas, say if I’m turning left or right at an intersection and there are cars parking on the streets so they’re blocking me from seeing the oncoming cars. How further can i go forward to check if it’s safe to turn? Appreciate your help. Thank youu.

thank for replying you need to wait behind the line and need to use your observation skill and wen you fell safe then start to turn

You can actually go past the solid line if your lights are green and keeping your wheels straight but then if you can’t see the oncoming vehicles or they are packed too tight because of rush hour then wait for the lights to turn amber or red and make sure vehicles have stopped where you can see them stopped on or before their solid line then you can go but don’t go slow and always watch for pedestrians.

Hi Vikas. I want to turn right at a traffic light without an arrow. What if there's already a car waiting in front of me, who wants to turn right too and is in front of the white solid line? Do I stay behind the white solid line OR move in front of the white solid line to be behind the other car?

if there is space in intersection you need to wait in behind the car and when you feel safe you can go.

Hi Vikas sir, Thanks for wonderful vedio.
My confusion is, in green light without arrow ,if our vehicle is first it can cross the stop sign and wait for safe gap for right turn.
But if other vehicle is in front of us and that vehicle already crossed the stop line and wait for safe gap for right intersection and in that case, do we need to be behind of stop line ?? And can we proceed even if the light chnage ro red if we are behind of stop line. Thanks always for wonderful sharing .

Hi Vikas, I hope you are good? While driving today, I approached a traffic light while trying to navigate to the right. The light was green but the arrow was red. I waited for some time hoping for the arrow to turn green. A driver behind me became angry and even overtook my car. Was I wrong to have waited.

How do we know if a traffic signal has arrow light or not? I have seen few traffic lights where they have three lights in line and one light on the right, but then people were not waiting for the right light. Probably that light didnt work I guess. But how can a driver figure that out?
