I wanted to thank you tremendously!!! I'm an IMG pursuing a residency in Pathology, your videos are inspiring and exciting to say the least. Thank you!
Hi. I am interested in pathology as my no.1 and i was wondering if you did anki as a learning tool during residency? I found some great decks on r/pathology which included pictures from molavi.. I enjoy your videos and I wanted to thank you for providing such invaluable insight on the field as a whole
Good to know Stanford are using Powerpath😂. It is so true that when we are in a new environment, it takes time to adjust, including software, new signout words, instruments and etc.
Hi thanks for the great insight on pathology. I've been rotating through medicine but sort of having second thoughts, thus im trying out pathology rotation provided i do love medicine and thinking of going into forensic patho. No doubts any rotation may cause a burnout, but im looking into pathology also hoping it would be less anxiety provoking, would like to know you're experience and insight on this ? greatly appreciated 🙏
I basically hated all my MS3 rotations, especially neurology! I did 2.5 months of pathology electives, and enjoyed every moment of it, especially the autopsies. Definitely give pathology rotation a try, especially in surgical pathology.
Hi! I am entering college as an undergrad this fall, shadowing a pathologist this summer as I am really interested in the field. As a premed you can major in anything, but do you think a comp science BA with the required premed prereqs sounds feasible? Thank you for your videos, I am really enjoying learning something new every time I watch them!
Good day doc. I have been an ardent follower of your youtube channel and like your updates. I am applying to pathology for the 2023 match. please I want to ask you some questions. Please can you give me an email or a platform where I can ask the questions? Thanks in Anticipation
Gi pathologists will practice in large academic groups, private groups or in large corporate groups. I don't see us practicing in a med GI office. There is a lot of work in between getting the biopsy and having it processed for slife making. And it's expensive to start a pathology lab, so it's generally more cost effective to send it out to a lab that already have the established lab.
I wanted to thank you tremendously!!!

It is doable to do comp sci and the premed prereqs. You will just have to take on average a few more classes then your peers.

What is the future of GI path? Will you work at GI doc's office?

Was it difficult?
It's challenging, but rewarding!
