I grew up in Arizona and was a republican because of John McCain, I was a left leaning Republican. I always voted left and right. I voted for the character of the person. I left the party in 2015 and became independent, I am only voting blue at this point. We need rational, kind politicians who can see across the lines. I am so proud of Arizona, and I know John McCain is too. Please. Let's be kind to one another, let's care more about others than ourselves 🇺🇲
I'm a former Republican and I love John McCain he has so much integrity. And he could work with people on both sides of the aisle I voted for Obama when he ran against him but this man even in his loss had humility. Yes, Maybe you couldn't agree with some ( or, maybe Alot) of What John McCain put forth in policy discussions, but at least he had respect for hearing another opinion other than his own. In fact, I think that after Obama became president, McCain and him would meet weekly, and discuss things. And, even during the campaign of 2008, at a rally somewhere, a woman was trying to get him to mention something negative, like " is he really a Muslim"?, McCain, said "No he is a decent human being"( something like that). Or, Richard Nixon during the 1st televised presidential debate in 1960, showed respect and listened to him, not interrupting him. Think the real adults in the political world have "left the room" to put it one way. No Red Tsunami!!, More like a small puddle in the breeze.
