His physical acting is incredible. If he actually researched Stephen thoroughly for a movie and took the whole thing seriously i could see him being absolutely perfect for playing the lead role in a "Stephen Colbert" movie.

Hurrah for Lucy & Bruce! Did The Late Show ever even tell everyone that Ash vs Evil Dead airs Saturdays at 9 ET? I'm not a fan of horror or slapstick comedy, but I LOVE this show. In addition to Lucy's as-yet-still-mysterious Ruby, there are two other fabulous, ass-kicking female characters played by Jill Marie Jones and Dana DeLorenzo. And of course there is Ray Santiago as Ash's sidekick and conscience; he knows Ash is a loser but has faith in him anyway and spurs him on to the heroism of which he's capable. As a bonus, the cast is 60% female and Ash is the only white guy in the bunch.
