I know Vuc has been in the US for a long time, but still impressed by his American accent 😂
Yeah, man. I really didn’t expect THAT from him 😮😅
Right lol
Fr😂
fr, he sounds like he's lived here for his whole life
He lived in Orlando half of his nba career lol
I was not expecting Vucevic to sound like that ngl lol
I’m with you🤣
Went to high school in the U.S. I believe so been here for a minute ig
Broooo I thought I was alone on that one 🤣
Raysis
I wouldn't have thought he was from overseas based on Vuc speaking... His English sounds natural
I had a conversation with the dentist for the Trailblazers organization in 2014 and he said that at team dinners, awards, etc. Dame was always serious and focused on how Portland could get better. He said Dame was one of the most serious people he’d ever met. He said that even amongst some of the most hard working athletes in the world, Dame stood out with his dedication and how seriously he takes what he does.
Saying you had a conversation with their dentist in 2014 is so oddly specific that I have to take you at your word
@@TheMissiIe for real I wouldn’t have come up with that 😂
And that’s the bane of PDX
Portland’s culture has been always accepting what happens without striving to get better 🥲
*source trust me bro 😂😂😂😂
Didn’t know NBA teams had dentists lol. His mentality sounds like Kobe’s. Makes sense why Kobe respected him
Never forget i saw his pre draft workout and was instantly a fan. Bro was giving 150% on everything and stayed laser focused the whole time
Even during the contest this yr if you watch the camera close ups 90% of the time he stays sooo calm like it’s amazing how his composure is that consistant
Best work ethic
Yes,I still remember his pre draft workout and the long shot, very crazy
I remember when him & Kobe dueled like Kobe had 43 something then Dame had a great game too, oh for sure he is HIM
I wanted the kings to take him so bad but we ended up with Thomas Robinson
That shot against OKC was the coldest things I’ve ever seen in sports. I had no rooting interest in the game but I will never forget that, the amount of skill and confidence needed to hit a contested side step 37 footer to win a playoff game at the buzzer is inhuman. He may not be up there w the all time greats in terms of career accolades but he has been the best clutch shooter of this generation.
To end series. Not just the game. End the season of PG13 and Russ. After a lot barking
It’s so sick cuz he had time to get a better attempt but this mf says “nah u right where I want u” Bru a psycho
🧲
@@ExploreLyfe Steph against OKC was the greatest shot for me
@@ExploreLyfe Dame made okc go into rebuild mode 😂 aside from Chris Paul carrying them to the playoffs
I did not think Vuc talked that fluent in English lol I just thought of him as another foreigner in 2K
Most underrated under appreciated player of this generation
Dame is neither of those things
@@idontpasstherock could he be talking about Vucevic, one of the most consistent centers over the years
@@ThommyMckGoaty well in that case yh thats fax
My favorite thing about that shot against okc isn’t even the shot itself, it was the fact that Seth curry was talking to their bench during the play telling them it was over lol
I was watching the OKC game live and I thought to myself "too far" when he pulled it lol
You're not alone. And Paul George was right, that's normally a bad shot for anyone else.
as an okc fan i was 100% sure dame was driving to the basket cuz he had been doin it all game. when he shot that shot i said “no way that go-NOOOOOOOOOO”
@@TTJJCC *Stephen Curry has disappeared*
Unironically, without dumbass narratives, it’s the best game winner of all time
Im gonna disagree and say Kawhi Leonards 3 in G7 against philly was the best game winner but Dame's was definitely up there
@@Umz15824 idk but the stakes were higher for dame imo
Facts.
It’s the most difficult, impressive, savage shot in NBA history. He had plenty of time to attack the rim but chose to wait and take that stepback… 👋
@@luqman7970 how?? Portland didn’t even get close to a chip while Toronto won it all and that was a game 7 in the ECF
Damn didn’t think vuc would speak that well😂😂
“This isn’t normal” 😂😂I’m with you vuc that was one of the greatest shots I’ve ever seen
LOL I just realized how far out Dame was on that shot!! Crazy!
Waited on Vuc numerous times when he played in Orlando. Terrific humble guy and nice family. He was an afterthought throw in during the Dwight trade to LA and he blossomed into a legit top 15 center
Paul "That was a bad shot" George
It was a bad shot for any other player besides dame
@@kingaye372 ok but Paul was still wrong. and Steph could prolly make that.
@@MrSpencerMcIntoshhow was he wrong? He won the game by making a bad shot. And even if steph could thats only 2 guys out the 400 or so in the league that can do that. Stop trying to minimize how unreal this moment was by saying somebody else could do it.
Steph Curry has entered Chat so we gone forget he walked okc too 😂😂
had no idea vooch sounded like that, did he come into the league already sounding american or did the accent come along slowly?
Went to hs in Cali then college with Derozan.
he was bad when he first played down here in Orlando, but he was here for so long and his kids were born here, so he probably just picked it up
Who takes that shot he says uh STEPH CURRY
Best deep shooter of all time
@Jeremy Harris, apparently you've never seen Steph Curry
@@RT-ij7dm apparently you a casual
Actually statistically true.
First time hearing Vucci Mane speak and I thought he was gonna have a crazy accent 😂
Vuc need to be in the gym working on that post game not doing interviews 🤣💯
defense*
Vuc a baller you’re trippin
Your tripping Vuc been had a post game since he got to Orlando lol
Bro Steph made the deep 3 incredibly popular, even he wasn’t doing side step threes from that deep
Maybe not side steps but steph be doing hop backs and leaning shots from there tho I still think steph has the most range but dame is definitely right there and just shooting in general it's definitely steph
@@toxicmoon6397 fanboy
@glitchy_boie brother I said nothing but facts and if need I can use numbers too back it up but ur just a internet troll soo who cares
@@toxicmoon6397 it’s not facts at all
Some people just have that edge to them. Dame is a hooper hooper
Dame is the best off dribble deep range shooter ever. Yes ik curry exists but dame does it without a system and draymond to get him open. Dame has to literally do it all himself
Dame only shoots %1 over league average 3pt % from extra deep. He just shoots a lot of deep 3s, hes not even particularly good at them.
@@Deathraze1 stats aren’t everything buddy. You gotta watch
You sound so dumb do I need to bring up the fact that curry lit dame up for 62 after the fact that same said that curry didn’t have klay to get him open looks😂😂
Terrible take it’s still steph .The numbers back it up. Dame is the system in Portland if you think they don’t scheme his 3s too I can’t help you . And if you want to use volume the best isolation 3 point shooter by volume is Harden. No one shot and made more contested 3s than harden at almost a 35% clip
@@aubhreypender3091 “You watch “ is another way of saying , I watch highlights on social media or CZcams and don’t see the bad misses.
i remember when he was dribbling out there and i was just mouth wide open because i couldn’t believe he wasn’t making any moves towards the basket. the clock hit 1 and i was like “is he even gonna shoot?” 😭
That shot vs OKC was a wonder of a shot.
I love vuc. His break down of dames game winner is highly intelligent and accurate
Dame just cold blooded he's literally looking for the dagger at all times. I think his 2nd year in the league he beat Houston in a series with a deep 3👀👀👁👁 for the series 😤
It’s cause he practices that shot so much, that’s why he’s confident
I’m an okc fan. I remember watching that possession and I knew he was going to hit that shot. I was still shocked even while anticipating it.
Steve speakin facts
Legend
Reason is lillard is very strong, he can casually shoot at the logo like he is shooting at the 3 line, unlike others who change their form to have more force to shoot at that range. Only other guy i see doing that casual shot at logo is lebron.
I’m with him that was the most amazing shot I seen in my life
Ngl as a left handed shooter there's more power on those turn around 3s (in this case a left sidestep). It's harder to aim tho
No seriously, a right handed shooter side stepping to his right already that deep makes the shot so much tougher. I didn’t even think about it until Vuc said it
it’s crazy dame AND steph hit deep game winners against the thunder 😂
yeah thats the confidence you need vuc
two magic legends
DameTime the one and only! Point at the wrist headash
The magnets also certainly help
Very common Dame W
I’m staring at the screen confused af like is that Vuc 😂 I was not expecting him to sound like that
Vuc speaks better than half the players in the league 💀 fr tho shooting with confidence is an underrated part of shooting. Obviously technique and getting reps in is the main thing but even good shooters can go into slumps due to lack of confidence
that makes sense
That is not how I thought Vucevic sounded
Yea no one talks about how he side stepped towards his dominant hand usually you do it on the opposing side
Vuc sounds like the exact opposite of what u thought he was gonna sound like
Was the OKC game tied when he took that shot or were they down?
See this is why I was confused when ppl were mad he made it on the top 75
Damien lillard is top 5 shooter of all time
so wut does vuc had to do with D.O.L.L.A
Which of your methods should we choose to start with first
Vucs head gets wider as it goes down 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Steph does, that's who takes it. Smh.
Steph is dames dad the NBA is just jealous
@@mikereginofit you meat riding
Idk about that I have a short memory. I’ll miss three in a row and keep shooting never get discouraged or lose much confidence and still I have a career percentage it under 30% (guessing) at the gym and I just air balled today at la fitness. Some guys are just different! Dame, Steph, Klay Reggie and Ray etc. are those guys.
Another part is lower set point too
When u got technology anything is possible !😂
Why isnt he is in the conversation of being the greatest shooter or even in top 5? Its always Steph, klay, reggie, allen, kyle, Bird, Peja etc.
Side step shot going left feels easier than side step shot going right as a right-hander, in my opinion
They talking like Steph isn't around and the first one who did that to OKC
I literally use all my strength to shoot nba threes. These dudes shooting 10 feet behind with ease.
dame & steph are crazy w/ them long shots bro lmao, they strong strong
Still waiting for the ‘giggity giggity’
71
I don't know how he generates enough power to shoot from the logo with perfect form.
This how you know a lot of nba players don't work on they craft to be the best they can be once they make they just try to stay in the league and not be the best
As a former ball player I can tell u confidence 100% plays a huge factor in your shooting ability
Greatest game winner of all time
This is random but does anyone remember when Vuc missed two free throws against the Magic and then Suggs hit a game winner?
Was kinda hoping KD would go to Portland and play with Dame and Jerami Grant
Dame will join buck soon
ngl my dad used to have me do that too
Is that a thing you practice? Nah bro I just do it spontaneously and it goes in.
It’s always guys who don’t do it that talk about how hard it is to do.
I love using a side step to my right. That’s one of my favorite ways to beat a tall defender. What did you see in the video? A taller defender. Hmm seems like Damien knows something that the big man doesn’t.
And literally everyone ever has practiced there shots when they’re tired as hell. We’ve been doing this basketball thing for a very long time. You guys need to try harder to make content other than just saying the obvious.
That's dame time for you ig
He woulda got roasted if he missed. Other players could make that but they don’t have the balls to take that shot
Only ballers know the side step to the right as a right handed shooter...is probably the hardest off the dribble shot...this guy game set match and seriesed them
I heard after one practice Dame made 900 3's without missing 2 in a row.
Going to your “right” is hard for “right hand”shooters🤔?
Dude on the bottom looks like he ate a bunch of bees
It is easier when the magnets are turned on
ngl it still looks weird seeing a player take a side step at half court, I know Dame has range but it’s still gotta mess you up as a defender like literally wait what is he doing😂
Wtf vuc sound like he from tx
Mannn side step to right being right hand is easier to shoot wtf lol
Dame is super underrated man bc Steph sadly doesn’t get enough credit and is loyal af to blazers and is a decent rapper too
I mean pg was right. All jokes aside that was a fuckin bad shot. Like the big man said who take that at g7 buzzer. It went in the rest is history but come on.
Hall of fame limitless range ?
That sound like wat steph does
some would even say its a bad shot...
People joke about it, but PG was right, it was a bad shot if you're not dame💀
Vucevic 🫡 #BalkanBoys
Is that not quagmire ?
They explained everything that makes the shot impossible but didn't call it fake god damnit
Dame got mad cause curry kept smoking him from deep let me practice it now 😂
Dame a deeper shooter than Steph bro, Steph still the goat of shooting but Dame has more range. Watch em play more
In your dreams
@@cashmoneycockburn9502 nigga u watch Steph play more lol
@@PapaGirth69420 the truth hurts 😂
300
A shot like that is usually and air balk.
That’s the secret to shooting if you don’t know anything about basketball. You always condition before you do your shooting drills for the day and always end on 100 made free throws.
So essentially yeah, PG was right it was a bad shot, Dame just hits those Lmfao 🤣
No disrespect to Dame, but Steph was doing this long before he was
Dame reminds me of what Curry used to be.
What you mean who takes that shot? Have you been living under a rock?
He stepped to the side from basically the logo to win a playoff game nobody else is taking that shot for game
PG looks like he’s jumping in place. Like he didnt want to block dame. 🧐
