The REAL Range Rover: the 2 doors (and obviously with the square dashboard), balance looks, stylish in every angle, practicality in every detail, minimalism too... this thing came out in 1970!, if you look at the cars was still made by Japanese or Americans at that time... boy this car was 10 or 15 years way ahead in design and general concept... The only thing that I don´t like is the plastic horizontal grille, the original aluminum was better, but anyway in 20 years they must change something! The 200TDI is a very good engine as well, maybe a little bit noisy for the RRC, but very strong and off-road capable engine (in fact had some advantages over the 300TDI). I love RRC. Congratulations!

Federico, thanks for the comment! And yes, I prefer the horizontal grille also, but they are not available new anymore, and finding them used, with the headlamp surrounds and other bits needed, can be tricky and expensive. If you know of any sources, let me know!

@@paulmisencik Unfortunally don´t know other than used bits and pieces in EBAY UK... but there´s a company, I don´t remember the name than makes the vertical grille (even the auxiliary lamps holes version), but all in plastic, that product includes the eye-brows of the main RRC lamps), that could be an option for restoring a pre-1986 models. Cheers

Tyres are slightly bigger than spec,Walnut trim missing from door and you should have shown engine ,tail gate area. These were sold in Spain.

Yes, as you can see, my company is located in Spain. And there was no "walnut trim" on the dashboards of "square dash" RRC's. Not fitted fron the factory, anyway. It's possible some dealers offered wood trim kits as a stick-on accessory. Maybe you're thinking of the later, "soft dash" 300Tdi models?

@@Salman-sc8gr In Spain the door handle finishers were not walnut. Just plastic.

What a pity, would look nice, get a carpenter to cut and polish, they just click fit.
