Thank you so much. I was able to fix my Dremel tool thanks to your video.
Glad it worked for you
This worked just fine for two Craftsman-labeled Dremel 395s. Thanks for posting it.
Glad this worked 2 years later
Thanks for making this video it really helped
Thanks. Worked great!
Thanks for the helpful video!
You're welcome
Thank you so much!
You are amazing! Thank you!
Appreciate the support
Excellent - thanks!!
Great! the flex I ordered coupling fits the Dremel 395 and the sears model I have (572 I believe)
Yes, I'm sure the part itself is universal to most Drexel models for cost purposes on dremels end. Thanks for posting
Dude I owe you a beer.
Tyfs💯😁
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
Welcome, welcome, welcome!!!
Thanks for the video. Its like a shear pin . Thought this tool was quality. Weak link and pain in the ass downtime, makes you afraid to use it.
Why doesn't Dremel make this part of metal? Is this like a transmission "fuse" for a Dremel drill?
I can only assume it's due to cost reductions for Dremel.
I believe it may be due to the heat it can produce and as the other poster said, cost reductions. All it is is a rubber like coupler that joins both ends together.
My Dremels don't have this coupler.
Do you mean it's missing? Or is it different? As mentioned, this is for the model on the video. I'm not sure if other models of Drexel will use different mechanisms. Another poster said it was most likely the same part for the 575 as model as well.
@@justdiyit9683 No, I have a 300 & a 4000, and in both cases the motor shaft is connected directly to the chuck.
