  • Truck ban over its time to crack on. Through the Frejus tunnel into Italy to load up then on to customs and start the return leg.

I can’t understand why these truck parking places don’t have an illuminated sign showing free spaces live, it’s not difficult technology these days. Would make life much easier in the dark.

Has anyone told you, you kind of sound like agent Smith out of the matrix, when you say good morning.

G'danga, I've thoroughly enjoyed watching your truck vids as I prep to get back on the artics after a 20 year hiatus. Could I ask as I cant find it. You mention in one video about your driving log. Do you have a vid on this or is it something you could explain in idiot terms please? I've tried to look them up but Canadian and Ozzy ones seem over complicated. Cheers. J

Don't really know what you mean. I've got an old video on how tachos work but it very out of date now and I don't know why you would be looking at Canadian and Australian rules as they don't apply in Europe.

tip 6 refers to keeping a log book and I just wanted to know how you laid yoyr log book out i.e. which columns for what? You mention you referred to it in a previous video but I can't find it. I do hope that makes sense :)

    Hello,
How many hours are you working a day, 15? I was just wondering how often you are left in the truck after work. How many hours do you usually have after 9/10 hours of driving. You were overseeing the loading, not sure how long that was. At one point you mention something about 12 hours and whether you should stay there the night, and then you start driving toward monte blanc which was 3 hours? So you worked 12 hours and had three hours of drive time left? I passed my module 2 and still having issues with driving/working hours. thumbs up 21, I want a prize!

That second day was 15 hours but a full drive day of 10 hours will only be about 12 with breaks. Depends on what your doing a long drive day vs a short hop from the depot will result in a very different amount of hours. Loading only took about an hour and a half or so and the 12 hours was duty time not drive. I had more drive time available but my 15 hour cut off came up first. Don’t know what you mean with how often am I left in the truck after work.

@@DTWTheWanderingMuzungu Hello Muz, Thanks for the response. It was about time after work in the truck. But I would imagine after 15 hours you would most likely prep for the next day and then get to sleep.
