Dimash wrote this song when he was 19 years old and the lyrics were written by Oral Baissengir, of course in Kazakh.
This performance was in Kazakhstan (Gakku TV is a Kazakh television channel. I heard there were about 150,000 spectators and the city center had to be completely closed). There he hit his highest note so far, his famous D8. You don't need to look for this note on the piano, the keys weren't enough for that anymore. Some say the tone isn't exactly pleasing to the ear, but it doesn't make it any less spectacular. Incidentally, Dimash himself said that this was not actually intended. He probably wanted to sing his "normal" G#7, but when he did, no sound came out of his throat. When he started again, the C8 came and then the D8.
A 5 second accident with vibrato😂. Only Dimash can do this. And then he continues as nothing has happened.
Some joke that he actually sang a higher note, but realized that we earthlings can’t hear notes that high, so he “only” sang the D8😉

This was the first time Dimash had performed back in Kazakhstan since The Singer 2017 had concluded in China, where 600 MILLION fell in love with him, so this was a "WELCOME HOME" sort of celebration. 30,000--50,000 were expected; 150,00 showed up and paralyzed the city. Oh--and that was a VERIFIED D-8------OFF the piano. (And the faint second, almost identical whistle a few moments later was EXACTLY that--a WHISTLE from the crowd.😉) By the way, he wrote this when he was just 19. SUCH a hook and soooo "singable!!"❤👏👏👏❤

I heard Dimash for the first time three days ago. I’m still in a state of shock. Since then I’ve watched many many reaction videos as well as him singing many songs. I started with SOS and I was speechless for hours because of its incredulity. I kept listening to more songs he sang. It didn’t matter which song. I concluded that I didn’t have a favorite. They were all my favorite each in their own right. Dimash became the song and the song became Dimash, perfection! Thanks for doing this video. Your reaction was gold.

If you watch Dimash concerts you will see times he lets the audience sing alone and with him. In fact, he manages to find a way most of the time to get as close to the fans as he can causing security to run after him.

A Dear said, Dimash first sings an ultrasound 🤣 I think, then he remembers that we humans can’t hear it and gifted us a D8 (out of piano) and he held it for “endless” long 5 seconds. This is a world record. Nobody has ever sung this high note in a live performance (captured on video for eternity). The shaking of the microphone is not only a cool effect, but also shows that he is singing live (is often doubted).
This event was the 3rd Open Air Music Festival organized by Gakku TV on September 16, 2017 in Almaty, Kazakhstan - (2015 - 40,000 spectators, 2016 (1000 years of Almaty) - 90,000 spectators.
2017 - Dimash was announced and 150,000 came. A Kazakh Dear wrote, the city center was completely paralyzed because of the many people. The concert lasted 6 hours. Dimash sang 5 songs.

That was a half note slide (whistle) into a D8, with vibrato.
You’ll notice that he had just missed his usual D7 as he waved the mic, so he continued up into the D8.
Pretty good recovery…right!…off the keyboard….

This is the only version with the D8. He missed the note before and corrected himself with a much unexpected high whistle. You'll see nothing comes out when he shakes his mic the 2nd time. He didn't plan on that note. 😆
I like to think that he didn't miss the note before but it was just so high that the human ear did not pick it up so he quickly went down a notch...my theory and I am sticking to it. LOL one day the mother ship will return.
