The bonus track “castles made of sand” it’s really good. It was a last push effort to get him on the charts!!! Which he made 😊
I think he's a social media/CZcams marketing master. He seems to have depth of understanding of what engages people that's as deep as his music.
There is a bonus track called Castles Made of Sand that didn't make the album (something something even number of tracks). He's said it was either Castles or Wicked Ways, and Wicked Ways made the cut.
But yeah, Castles Made of Sand is really good.
This song runs through my head every day, it seems to be lodged there. The way Seven Sins dovetails into this track is perfection. To me this is Ren coming to a level of peace and acceptance with his pain, hence the opening into nature and beauty. IMO Ren's rapping is as distinctive and unique as everything else he does. His flows are so varied, melodic, and interesting that he makes most other rap sound rather monotone and dull to me now. I can imagine mumble rap fans not liking this, though, it's so different. Ren had something like 170K followers when I found him in January 2023. So incredibly happy to see him blow up. So happy you're back, too. ❤

The fact that Wicked Ways and Castles Made of Sand were the last couple tracks he was deciding would go on the album is crazy to me, both tracks are amongst the best on the album.

Ren said it didn't make the cut because Wicked Ways fitted into the flow of the album better and I can see why, but Castles Made of Sand I can literally listen to on repeat for hours. I'd love to hear your thoughts on it.

Thanks Cliff.. yes, people have a right to their opinion, but I have listened now to pretty much everything Ren has done and there really is nothing he doesn’t do well.. people just don’t get him and the higher level he raps on.. his voice forces you out of your comfort zone reaches out and grabs you and slams you in your cerebral cortex.. not everyone is on that virtual plane.. I’m here for it and can listen 24/7 Thank you..

Enjoy your videos, one of the few that keeps being your true self on video. Ren is amazing and his flow is great.
This whole album is one big intertwined story. I don't know if "concept album" in classical sense would be the correct term here, but it's all connected, there is a progression, and these songs explain each other and give each other more depth. Even the songs that are seemingly "just for fun", like "Univited", "Down on the beat" and "Love Music pt. 4" start making much more sense in the context of the whole album with how they tie with it's themes true elements big (i.e. "Univited" - lust from "Seven Sins") and small ("Lost All Faith" has lines from many other songs, but this times used very autoironically instead of boastfully).
1.2 million psh get those numbers up! Jk you should have over 29 million at least. Great reaction as always

Castles made of sand is one of the greatest pieces of rap rim has ever released period don't take me Wrong here but rent is not a rapper. He is not a singer, he is not a guitar. Sea's not a pianist. These are all tools that he melts together to make his style. He's just an artist and these are tools that he uses to express himself

Usually jealous people say things like he can't rap or they don't like his voice..etc. Funny he has a distinct and beautiful voice when he sings. No one sounds like him, just like no one sounds like Chinchilla. The labels pop out singers that all sound alike with the same unimportant message. Boring. Love my independent artist who is killing it in a world the record industry owns.

His album is stacked with nothing but good tracks, but out of all of them this one is my least favorite. Still greatness though! Rap without putting others down is fire to me, that is why I love his style
