@@adam.4487 a lot of times that we do talk during the video its meant for myself & crys to hear. When I pause & talk its meant for eveyone else. I will adjust the volume as much as possible but I try to make sure everything is working correctly for everyone.

He developed lyme disease due to it and was incorrectly diagnosed for 10+ years. Given numerous incorrect treatments/medications which lead to psychosis, autoimmune disease, and various other issues.

Y'all not ready
Ren became seriously ill in 2010. His condition was undiagnosed/misdiagnosed for 6 or 7 years. The treatments made him worse, to the point where he was often confined to bed for up to 23 hours a day. In 2016 he was finally diagnosed with Lyme Disease. He got some stem cell transplants and his health got much better. But the years of incorrect treatment have left Ren with a badly damaged immunity system and some brain damage. He is currently getting specialist treatment in Canada which will likely last at least 6 months

I saw a video on here where he was saying he didnât think he could go on. He was crying. It must have been earlier before he gained the audience he has now. Iâm not sure where to find it. what a great artist
Ren was misdiagnosed for a decade and only recently was diagnoses with Lyme Disease which you get from a tic bite. He is currently spending time in Canada to get treatment for it. I highly recommend The Hunger or Genesis next.

A tick bite causes Lyme disease. Which is what he suffered from for years as medical doctors said nothing was wrong, and that all his pain and symptoms were all in his head. So he was being treated with meds for psychosis and mental issues which made him worse. Thatâs why he depicts the psychiatrist as a pig, or a butcher- they never helped him. He was finally given the correct diagnosis, but the Lyme disease could have killed him if they hadnât found out. And yes, his new single, Animal Flow, drops tomorrow, May 4th. I totally agree with what you said about this music hitting people harder who are going through some stuff and how an artist can come out of nowhere and suddenly become your favourite. I would love to hear your thoughts on Chalk Outlines, I think it really showcases Ren's voice and it's a deeply emotional one. it broke me in a good way for about a week! Only with Ren, it wasn't his mind making him sick. It was Lyme Disease (bitten by a tick boy), but they misdiagnosed him and treated him with meds as if it was a straight mental health issue. A lot of damage was done by the time he got the correct diagnosis.

Lyme disease is transmitted by ticks, which is the reference in this song. I also speculate that the facial ticks he does at the beginning of The Hunger is referencing that also.

Ren was misdiagnosed by multiple Doctors and Psychologists for many Years, being told all his pain and symptom was in his head, he was given psych Medication that was needed essentially causing him to have breakdown so in the end he did need psych medication. After many years of this cycle of misdiagnosis and wrong medication he was correctly diagnosed with Lyme Disease which is caused by an Animal Tick Bite. He stills suffers with problems years of an untreated Bacterial infection has caused and is currently in Canada getting Specialist treatment to try and repair some of the damage but he will always have issues, that treatment has already been ongoing for many months and the Daily treatment could last many more months. All this is expensive and has largely been funded by fan donations of which over $300,000 has been raised so far and is still going on 2 go fund me pages.

He was bit by a tick and has Lyme Disease. He was told his side effects was all in his mind, they gave him drugs for psychosis. It was after that he was diagnosed properly. He is doing treatment in Canada for the Lyme Disease.
Ren was misdiagnosed a decade ago by doctors. He actually had Lime Disease but they thought his mind was playing tricks and gave him strong drugs psychotropics and told him he was crazy. The Lyme disease ran amuck for 7-8 years. He is currently in Canada receiving treatment to undo all the damage done. his life was dramatically shortened by the misdiagnosis but he is doing his best to stay in shape and recover all the stolen years past & future.

for trauma u deal with it in the moment by pushing it back and coping slightly but when it is re brought up u tend to have a more extreme reaction to it thus it hits harder later in life

he had or has Lyme disease ,antibiotics for a few weeks can cure it ,but ren was misdiagnosed for such a long time over ten years and being treated with medicine he did not need .

Ren's VERY personal critique of the woefully inadequate mental health system.....the therapist just speaks "psycho babel", not really helpful at all........the Pig from 'Hi Ren' reappears -- it is a butcher......I believe it represents Ren's opinion of many doctors and therapists........
