- Finally got some rudder pedals after about 4 years of playing DCS. I got a set of the Thrustmaster TFRPs. They're pretty nice to use honestly. I haven't done much dogfighting yet, but I would very much like to try.

Now that I actually have rudder pedals, I can fly helicopters without an excuse. Would you guys like to see any helicopter gameplay? I want to try out the Mi-8 myself. Let me know what you guys want to see.

I know what you mean about trying to adjust to pedals. I still catch myself twisting my wrist instead of moving my feet.
My first stick was a Logitech extreme 3D pro, that’s what I started the channel with. Upgraded to a TM Warthog, but had no rudder. I was definitely twisting the stick for a while after as well lol
Randomly exploding like what happened at the end happened to me as well I took a “few” rounds of ground fire lost a engine but was still flying fine but when I was about to land I just randomly exploded D:
I think there’s a script on ECW to check if you’re “dead” and just blows you up if it thinks you are. I guess I “died” from the single bofors hit at the start of that second sortie
I'm not familiar with DCS, which frogfoot is that? The free one that is included with the game is different
nvm... I see there is a DLC for another Su-25
Why did you exploded : the engine that was hit was still burning. Not providing trust, but you did not turn it off. So the fire has spread until it reached your fuel tanks / cockpit, then the airframe just exploded or you got killed. You should have used the engine right shutdown button.

There was no fire. I didn't have any smoke trailing, the engine just died. As far as I am aware, something like that isn't even modeled especially for FC3. The damage models in this game are very arcade-like and it's even moreso for the FC3 jets like the Su-25. I believe I just exploded because the server thought I was dead and there's a script to destroy the vehicle of whoever is dead.
