- In this archived message from the 1992 NRB Convention, the late Adrian Rogers, founder and Bible teacher of Love Worth Finding, draws five principles from Israel’s encounters with the Ark of the Covenant. Rogers delivered the message on January 28, 1992, at the Sheraton Washington Hotel in Washington, D.C., during the Convention’s closing banquet.

How our churches in 2021 need to hear sermons/ messages like this one! Adrian Rogers knew the Bible and preached sound doctrine. The Holy Spirit was upon him.

All pastors of America 2023 need the God of pastor Roger's. He didn't sugar coat the word of God. Pastor's preach the truth. Don't get rich with the word of God. Remember, God says vengeance is mine I will take care of it. We have a loving and forgiving God. But we also have a God of Wrath. 👍

I can’t even begin to imagine how blessed it would be to sit 3 feet from Adrian Rogers as he’s preaching, I’d never ever forget it, and yet the lady behind him is struggling to stay awake. If I’d been there, I would have been so fired up I wouldn’t have been able to sleep for about 2weeks afterwards.

One of the greatest American preachers of all time. First sermon I ever heard him preach on television was This Place Called Hell. I was spellbound, as he preached like the ministers in the little country church I grew up in. Powerful, Spirit-filled, unafraid to pour it on & tell it like it was/is!
Our world lost an amazing true Christian Believing Pastor when Adrian Rogers died and went to Heaven---but Heaven gained another Saint when Adrian Rogers arrived -------------------------------------------------AMEN. Adrain was one of two favorites """ ' Billy Graham' favorite Pastor's for myself and my son Wade Childers""".

In my opinion he spoke the truth! My opinion has no bearing on reality! I have to confess I am guilty of trying to use GOD.I don't believe it started out like that.I got born again in 1990. It changed my heart! I repented and I carried around a pocket Bible! I turned into someone I can't stand. I lost 5 family members had a brother commit suicide and another brother die by getting bit by a spider. I got injured on the job and suffered from pain and anxiety. I used to love to talk about The LORD JESUS. Now I am so depressed and wrapped up in to my own SELFISHNESS.I treated GOD very badly. I would appreciate it if someone would pray for me.I wish my health problems were cured because my life revolves around my problems.I wish I never needed to ask the LORD JESUS anything except for his help to do GOD'S Will GOD'S way.I missed the days when I loved TO just talk about the LORD JESUS.In spite of all of this GOD ALMIGHTY and JESUS have been good to me.Thank you LORD.

He said God isn't interested in you being a soul winner. I love Adrian, but he's wrong on that part. We are ALL to be soul winners. We are all called to share the Gospel.

Adrian Rogers was putting emphasis on glorifying God as a an up front and primary important thing in your life which is before soul winning. You can be a soul winner and not really desiring to glorify God first in your life. You ask God: God first of all I want to glorify You in my life then the rest will fall into place. God is not primarily interested in making you a soul winner, but He is interested in glorifying His Son in your life, after that is settled, the rest will follow!!!
