He is 19 years old - His body and brain have yet to reach full maturity. I think he as all the tools to become a top player but that comes with time.
Amazing video here and he definitely has potential! Thanks for sharing.
Why do fans & media do this to our up & coming players just let them develope & our managersbring them along as they see fit.
@@Eat-My-Goal we've got the same issue with elliot anderson at the toon wuth fans pushing for him to play as they did for the longstaffs to play ( of which i think sean longstaff has been great for us) but how quick the same fans that were shouting for him to play, they turned on him & say he isnt good enough to pull the shirt on
Not fair to judge him when the whole team didn't play well most of the time. When the team look lost and predictable. When the team lost some confidence. On personal ability, clearly he has sublime technique. He clearly has an eye for pass and quality delivery. He can only get better.
Hopefully, he'll step up the challenge ahead after the two new Mids came. To make the best of every chance he's given which will be considerably lower.
But he must improve faster otherwise Ben Doak might get ahead of him. Having no pace is a real issue for a player with his size. Countinho was a great playmaker, but he only become a monster after practicing his shooting more, in around 2016. At this level, one must be really special. Being just great is not enough.
If I'm Elliott, I'd stay behind longer in training ground and practice shooting. No party, no hanging out, just training. This is crucial years in development. I'll enjoy life later. Being in a big club is a rare chance, getting into the first team even rarer.
I won't waste any moment off the pitch, not even for the young social life style. Being young, famous, rich and handsome? Even more practice and practice.
Does not have pace to play inverted winger in klopp's system. Not mature enough to play false 9. So has to play as attacking mid. For that he needs to improve his physicality (gets pushed too easily) and defensive work rate. If he can, he will be unstoppable but there is a "if".
If he can reach the potebital of Xherdain Shaquiri, which I am sure he can do, than liverpool have a great player on their hands!
This lad is still a kid, you can't compare him with other Under 20's out there some of em have a rapid growth and some of em grow slowly
Maybe he'll grow up.... someday?
No he's definitely not overated the Boss wouldn't use him as much as he does if he was overated top player just goin to get better like a fine wine !!!
Y N W A ❤
his injury really made him stop tackling. I felt pity for him.
I rate him very highly but he's been asked to do a job he's just suited to. I see him as a purely attacking creative player. He could be as good as prime Coutinho, if he's nurtured right
He reminds me of Silva and nasri
Great player but maybe shouldn’t be playing in the midfield unless it’s attacking midfield.
Elliot is special player
he is too early at first team, klopp should send him on loan again to foreign league like holland spain or portugal to drill his mentality and his playstyle, i saw him as like latIn players but stuck in middle what he want meant to be, no 10 ? no 7 ? no 8 ?
bro elliot is very not Overrated because he is an exellent player of YNLF QLF akimbo j'en ai 2
Yeahh, Many LFC fans think he is, in the another side, a lot of people really likes him!!!
he'll never be the next Gerrard, Fowler, Macca or Owen because we signed him and your listing academy graduates and local lads (less so MO). They're four beloved legends (less so MO) who have a special bond with the crowd as they represented us all who grew up in the city dreaming of getting to enjoy their pathway.
Harvey has a lot of potential, and could become a legend in the years to come, but its different to the people you listed even though maybe it shouldn't be.
His best version is Messi
owen , gerrard , fowler , mcmanaman , when they hit the first team , you could see what they brought to the table , i just dont see that in elliott , would he get into most premier league sides in the top half , i dont think so , over rated for me
Mark my words when he will be 22, he is going to be leagues one of the best no10 in the league
@@albertjoefrancy7309 good luck with that thinking , he should be showing glimpses of it now , has no flair about him to play in the number , he isnt the fastest player , in the names i mentioned above you could see when they hit the first team , what they could bring , elliott what has played 3 or 3 decent games all season
He hasn't got pace or enough strength wll never be good enough for a Liverpool player. Don't waist any more time Liverpool.

The most overrated young player I ever saw nothing impressive about him average player
Needs to make better decisions, looks to shoot first, not a team player too often, then can't place his shots on goal.
He’s best position should be in substitute lol
My favourite youngster at the club......just needs a little time and a decent haircut and he'll be fine......
Completely overrated from a Liverpool fan . I have no clue why hes the only player who’s played in every game this season. But he’s obvs staying in our team so pls can we stop playing him centre fucking mid where he gets bullied
As an LFC fan, he is overrated.
Yeahh, Many LFC fans also say that!!!
Over rated and should be replaced.
and he will...
