Howard Zinn always spoke "truth to power". I recently found a newer copy of his classic book "People's History Of America" at one of the local goodwills. I knew it would be a heavy read because of all the unspeakable atrocities committed by our government so i've been putting off reading it til this upload. ! Thank U!

At the 10 minute mark, everyone back in 1990 laughs when told president William McKinley didn't know where the Philippines were. Folks, get used to hearing about ignorance by presidents who are belligerent, abusive creeps. In 30 years, it'll be commonplace.
The good thing about history is that it repeats lol! -that's what I thought he was going to say- so if you missed it the first time, you can relive it again later ... unfortunately 🙄

Reading Zinn's book made me realize America was build on land stolen from Native Americans so everyone who is not a Native American should leave.
Or we should/could recognize that truth as a nation-state and give better reparations and official apologies and teach the truth in our schools.
