Fun fact: The ending song is called "Love 2000" and it's actually just a cover of a 2000s song sung by the blue haired girl. It's supposed to be like her singing at the karaoke place
It's also pretty famous for being used as the image song for Naoko Takahashi during the 2000 Olympics, where she won the gold medal in the women's marathon.

In the first 5 minutes I’ve concluded:

I’m already in love. So is the pattern that he meets Losing Heroines and becomes their therapist/containment person? Because that’s a great premise.
Also all the girls have an absurd amount of Bow ties. So my intial theory of “it’s their Power Level” has taken a hit

I really like how they animate Anna. She is so cute and hilarious.
This, Roshidere, Pseudo Harem and 2.5D Seduction are good romance comedies for me this season.

I read the novels of this anime like 2 weeks ago and it inmediatly gave me a lot of konosuba vibes.
Yanami really gave me Aqua vibes mostly because:
-Eat a lot
-Cries the entire episode
-Gets in debt
Replacing eating with drinking she would basically be Aqua
Also the opening will be in the second episode
This episode only had the ending.
Basically the mc is the side character

One of a kind show, I dropped high school romance a decade ago cause it's so cookie cutter and bad. This show blows the formula away! HILARIOUS.
Anna is officially "Girl of the Season" in my book, right next to Yuki Suou. They're not "Best Girl", they're just *_"Girl"._* And I think that's funny.
But goddamn do I love their energy.
Well there was a harem anime about childhood friend winning but the thing is all the heroine are the MC childhood friends

I think the weirdest romcom I've ever seen is still "if her flag breaks!"
Where the MC could see the Flags on peoples' heads that denote their fate, from Love Flags to Soccer Champion Flags, to straight-up literal *_Death Flags._* He legit whispers in a random businessman's ear that he's gonna fail whatever Important Business he was working on, and it causes Truck-kun to skid off to the side, completely missing the businessman _and_ all the others standing at the crosswalk. And this is in the first episode of a friggin sugary sweet romcom about him collecting a harem of girls because he either can't break their flags, or breaking them causes something to happen that he then had to prevent which immediately resets the Love Flag.
And then it gets "Darling in the Franxx's last episode" weird. And by that I mean it's on par with wondering "how did they get into space???"

third wheeling experience?? I have an awkward one... once I , my friend and his gf promised to go to an anime event. then we go to his gf house to pick her up. THEN suddenly the gf's mother asks about their future. if he is serious, if he wants to marry her, etc. I can only awkwardly sit on the sofa while they have such conversation... btw they married now

This character reminded me a lot of Sheldon Cooper from the series The Big Bang Theory. I watched the anime based on your recommendation, and I liked it. It's a promising anime.

I think it's kind of a double-pun here as well, where this is also probably supposed to sound similar to 'makeinu' meaning more or less 'underdog' or generally 'unsuccessful person'
I knew we'd have the same sense of humor, glad you like this show. As someone who's a light novel reader, this one is really good.
Also a bit of a confusing translation, but the rice meal was only 50 yen, and totals to 400 yen so far that's why they said 400 yen. The translation wasn't wrong but just kind of misleading the way they said it.

12:44 There is exactly one couple in my friend group who I can be a third wheel with and it won't end up awkward, and that's entirely because one is my best friend from all the way back in fifth grade, and the other is his wife, who had known both of us since at *_least_* 8th grade.
She already knows just how cringe the two of us are, and will even join in on our cringe jokes, so when they want a break from being parents but aren't in a "second honeymoon" mood, they'll usually hit me up to go bowling, play video games, or watch bad movies and/or good comedies.

great first episode
this is one of the sol series that i love right now. Had a blast reading the manga, can't wait for more of the anime's. Glad they did the series justice since there is one more animes that i waited this season only to be dissapointed with the adaptation compared to the manga.
All I want to know is the design choice to have four damn bowties on the girls' uniforms.
