Solution to Problem: “Hate Speech Inciting Violence is not the Free Exchange of Ideas. You will be suspended from school.”
I was appalled at the responses of the University Presidents, especially UPenn and Harvard. I think their politics have gotten in the way of their human decency and responsibility for their students. They should resign immediately.
Did you engage past their opening statements? The representative of Florida should resign for dressing like a sparkly cowboy at a serious debate over essentially eugenics.
It would be more effective for Congress to stop funding these organizations.
I like Fredrica Wilson's hat!@@adamward3002
@@zoharfriberg7557 I mean. Same. I want her to resign because I'm so jealous of how awesome it is.
@@adamward3002 Agreed. She looks like a clown.

That is not protected hate speech. That is a death threat. Which is punishable by possible jail time. And they are permitting it. They should not give them one penny of our tax money. Neither should the federal board of education that would have given it to them.
1:48:29 The Intifada (means "Shaking off" in Arabic) denotes the Palestinian resistance against Israeli occupation of the West Bank and Gaza Strip, which is permitted by international Law (even that it includes violence). Its a form of self and property defense, and has nothing to do with genocide of jews.
Congress came prepared; college presidents came unprepared. Culture clash! Real world and theoretical world!College presidents are unable to answer easy Yes or No questions. WHY? Academic rhetoric bullshit! Sad!
Any forms of hate is wrong. Antisemitism. Islamophobia or any form of discrimination. Everyone deserves to be safe at all places. homes, schools. colleges. and other public places. Hate has no place in society. anywhere.
Is there a transcript of the committee?
Before Neville Chamberlain's cowardice in Munich, the word "appeasement" had a positive connotation. These three university presidents accomplished the same feat with the word "context." We will remember your vile sophistry whenever we hear this word.
This needs many, many more likes. Hit the nail on the head. 💪
@@italia689 Thank you. I wonder if woke idealogues could see the disturbing parallels if they studied German politics in the 1930's . Many are eager to label one side as fascists, yet these same people will excuse and minimize the dark behavior exposed in the MO v Biden case.
As the Standards applied to me as well in Jr. College Research writing.
I think the committee should have a hearing on Islamophobia as well if they are serious about discrimination and hate in response to the war in the Middle East.
Calling for a free Palestine is not antisemitic nor a call for genocide.
Most Jews aren't semitic anyways, but that is not all that is happening. There are people being attacked for being Jewish. Woke people love to pretend they have the moral high ground and then attack everyone they are bigoted against. It's a flaw. One that will eventually end in their misery. But then they like living in misery as it paints them as a victim so win win.
That's not what they asked them.
If one person is allowed to make changes to their PhD Paper after accepted . . .
. . . then all throughout history should also be allowed the same. And be permitted to continue on their studies.
(it will teach them how to think better)
Or
Apply The Standards for Plagiarism to the one.
In all fairness The Standards must Apply equally to all.
Right on Mr Allen. Praise the Lord Jesus.
Elise Stefanik killed it. I found myself laughing everything she got some time rolled back up to her.
Elise you broke the npc's pre programmed rebuttals 😂
Congress needs to change the 5 minutes rule to at least 10 minutes.
Love the way you are holding them accountable
A post at a University must not be used to make corrections to previous accepted work because one person has connections due to the job.
Such is Corruption of The Academic System.
As Voiced and stated by the University Staff itself.
I don't know much about this and I'm a STEM not a Lawyer (that's off cycle to return in a yr or so).
Today I saw the Plagiarism stuff come out. It doesn't seem to have been read for content. The concern I would suggest is . . . if the content is racially biased and grievances leveled toward certain groups. Is there indication that an unsafe environment is being allowed to foster in alignment with that ?
I've not read it and don't know it's contents.
That would be a concern though.
(And perhaps I'm just beginning to understand this all - in which case excuse my ignorance - lol)
Approx. 3:08…….. Walker had good points/questions.
These university presidents must have gone to the Mayorkas school of question answering.
That school is in CUBA
Why couldn’t the Democratic Ranking Member during his opening statement for once leave the political gotchas at the door? Why couldn’t he simply show solidarity against hate? Shame on him!
-A concerned Democrat 🇺🇸
Lawyer behind purple glasses is really uncomfy with the questions she is being asked.
They all are. Sounds like money to help corrupt the next generation has been taking place. I bet Biden and Obama know all about it too.
Affirmative
What a joke. It clearly goes to show that you aren't getting your money's worth at this poison ivy colleges.
Years and years of liberalism and DEI have led to this. The US government needs to assert its power, and remove those who would plant the seeds of division and hatred in the educational system. God bless Israel, free Palestine from Hamas.
I have not seen any islamaphobia on the college campuses. None at all have been reported in the news.
3 Brown students were shot in what has been confirmed an islamophobic attack in Vermont. It was all over the news!
All of the presidents are liberal. Ms. Fernandez be accountable for your fellow liberals behavior.
As a university president, you should want leaders like this, its important for leaders to lean on context and intent, especially in situations like today.
No they are cowards. Say that genocide of all people is wrong and a violation of university rules. This doesn't need content fool. They had to re clarify their half speak weakness.
@@will201084 know your place and stay there
No. Antisemitism is not free speech. Calling for the genocide of any ethnic group is not free speech- it is hate speech and illegal in any democracy, it’s not only ABHORRENT
The Penn president starts at about min 36; again, more about the loss on Oct7 then about the loss of Gaza talks about the REAL anti semitism in PHilly
She is remarkably un fluent and un posied for a person with such a senior posistion; clearly, public speaking was not why she was hired at min 40.5 talks about anti muslim activity at UPenn
And omg! Bowman was a principle for 10 years and he pulled the fire alarm. Omg!! Unbelievable. He even removed the sign. I thought that was a federal offense. Everybody knows that. I am shocked. But he is a member of the democratic socialists of America.
Is purple glasses really a dude identifying as a woman???
Good question. Didn’t think of that. But I was thinking they are all women condoning death threats as hate speech.
@@rhondamyers4936 Terrible right? Arab countries and groups backing terrorists donating big time to these schools and that is the bottom line.
that first guy is the worst.
listening to President Gray's opening at about minute 33, she talks about the horror of Oct7 but says nothing about the deaths in Gaza. this is a very pro Israel stance.
Makes you wonder if she is pressured by donors. CEO’s are pushing to lower all donations to $1 , which still fulfills their pledge.
Read the subject of this committee. Why would she state anything about something that is not relevant to the committee subject?
The subject is NOT about "who's right in the Israel - Gaza conflict", this should be subject to another committee.
This committee is about "Holding Campus Leaders Accountable and Confronting Antisemitism".
Well - maybe Hamas should not have attacked Israel on Oct. 7th? If you want to point to who is responsible for the deads in Gaza, point towards Hamas.
How funny, maybe Israel should not have occupied Palestine and committed all these genocides previous and current.
@@terrys.2342 It's obviously the israeli occupation forces who are commiting warcrimes and massacres against civilians in gaza, even my dumb cat realize that but i really don't understand how people like you can still be very brainwashed by media and all the zionist propaganda after all the horrors that we're seeing after Oct.7th
