- Following our “Royal Key” tour of Texas Tech Basketball’s Womble Center ( • Inside the TEXAS TECH ... ), we return to Lubbock for a tour of the $48M Sports Performance Center. Texas Tech’s SPC facility features a 200-meter, banked track, a refueling nutrition station, an indoor artificial turf field, sports medicine and hydrotherapy spaces and a dedicated strength and conditioning space. Check out one of the newest, shared student-athlete facilities in the country!

I have raced here a couple times and it is a magnificent place. It is so much bigger in person. One of my favorite indoor facilities I have raced at.

They had a very impressive basketball season last year as well. They almost beat tech at the start of the season and did beat Texas in the tournament

It’s pretty dated but it’s coming they just got funding for some new things. Like locker rooms

Texas Tech just announced a $200 million upgrade to their football stadium as well… wow. This sports training facility is gonna be connected to the stadium with a sky bridge. Will be the largest faculty in the entire country. Like do real

I remember going here after graduating in 2017 still wasn't completely finished with the track but the progress we have made and the next-gen feel of the facility is mind blowing. Thanks for the detailed walk through its been a couple years since I've seen my Red Raiders Football digs! Hope to build off that bowl game win against the pirate in this super lab WRECK'EM!

looks great and expensive but maybe they can think about building more parking lots so normal students who pay for this can actually get to class.
