Reminds me of an RPG I've never played.
Maybe i put this sound into my ucoming rpg maker game. Just so you can be at peace and play the rpg you've never played.
I don't know why it reminded me of Parasite Eve ...
But also Blood Omen Legacy of Kain as we hear the track "Atrium Carceri - The Citadel"
And WoW's Shattrath city at 23:20 I absolutely adore this cryo chamber mix

There's something about cities and ambience that fascinates me.
Hello, i think you should see this .. facebook.com/kundoriacity/videos/392016534842974/
And this... czcams.com/video/2mb9rxgR8ds/video.html
It's nothing like the country and ambience, in the city, you feel there is people even if you don't even see them at night. Ghost town, not the same effect even if you don't see the people still.. I like to bath in a sea of people that doesn't know me but eventually I like being back again with the very few that 'somewhat' do =]
@I-CON ELITE Same:)
Exactly
Hello traveler!
You have reached the checkpoint. This checkpoint is very far from your home.
Relax and sit down! You're safe here.
Many travelers come and go, you aren't the first nor the last.
Be careful, beyond this point.
When I read that, I imagined that I'd arrived on a different planet...a barren planet, with no life. Sort of like
the game Borderlands.
Thanks for the rest stop.
Where m'I? How I get here? Where is my child?
You’ve met with a terrible fate, haven’t you?
Well met stranger. My gratitude for the respite, and the wisdom.
This reminds me of our reality
This reminds me of World of Darkness. ´Maybe your neighbour is a vampire, maybe that beggar at the alley is not a simply beggar. It's such a misterious and magnificent piece
That was exactly what it made me think of as well. Has a very strong WoD vibe.
i actually use this as a background music when playing the ttrpg with friends
Yes. Using this as meditation music to think of some world of Darkness plots.
Oh dude, love world of darkness. My group has been adding in music to make the stakes seem higher.
Was just listening to a VtMB ambient mix my dude
There's a palm tree in the photo. I never associated palms with dark ambient before. It's interesting because instead feeling the coldness that usually dark ambient brings it gives a more warmer sensation but without loosing darkness. Like those calm nights in the beach.
hahahahaha
some of the greatest, darkest film noirs are set in los angeles.
you need to play dead island then. This music is so evocating of that game
Calm nights on the beach. OF DEATH!
I never yhink about it. its very strong thinks.
A darker city than Blade Runner. Awesome
I can imagine being the only person in this town, calling out for anyone to respond. Wondering why no one is around, the feeling of something ominous following me throughout the whole time is what's unnerving. Almost like I'm almost out of time before it catches me... Great work Cryo❤️
great story
coronavirus prediction?
Basically a walk outside in 2020.
Yeah, that something ominous? It's COVID.
Write that book please
Goes well with Bladerunner, Deus Ex, Cyberpunk 2077. Love this ambiance; bleakness, melancholy, dying of the light, an epoch of mourning for better times or some sort of relief from hardship.
A bit like a Resident Evil save room theme.
*Please, release me...*
I listen this EVERYTIME i write my book
The same right here. I'm writing a parallel history of Tom Clancy's The Division.
Я прислушиваюсь к этому при разработке игры.
@@shdedu4268 I love that game
Geez, I'm writing so many stories I've lost track of how many plotlines I have in so many worlds of my design...
do you people post anything anywhere we can read it ?
This is excellent to listen too while painting/drawing
Or reading
@@narberall462 I'm actually embarrassed that I didnt mention reading....
Indeed
.in all my works it rains since i listen to this🤔
I like imagining those weird smudges in the sky being some sort of weird sky-jellies or transparent flying manta rays. I know they're probably just refractions or something.
I saw the title and the thumbnail and added it to my playlist without even listening to it yet
I've been playing so much Fallout 4 that I got bored with original soundtrack a long time ago. Cryo Chamber compilations are a perfect background for postapocalyptic world exploration. Initially of course I listened to Fallout Ambient, but I grew bored with it in the end too. Now it's this one. Considering the sheer amount of content on this channel, it's unlikely I'll ever run out of good soundtrack material. Thank you.
The origoinal F4 soundtrack was shit in the first place. It's not difficult to be better than that.

Let's all just take a moment to mourn the 60ish people who felt they needed to dislike this beautiful creation. I appreciate its not for everyone, but everyone it's for appreciates it.
Hope they enjoy the rest of their days in some way or other,,,,
I've been on CZcams for many years and I've never witnessed this many Ads on a video. That's the true scary part.
As someone who's been living in a city for several years now, I have a love hate relationship with the place. It's got skyscrapers and a depressed atmosphere but with the right music it becomes an emotional ride to walk around
I think this kinda suits anything. Cyberpunk, zombie apoc, nuclear apoc... wow :O
Reminds me of the movie "Dark City".
Perfect atmosphere.
Welcome. Welcome to City 17.
You have chosen, or been chosen, to relocate to one of our finest remaining urban centers. I thought so much of City 17 that I elected to establish my Administration here, in the Citadel so thoughtfully provided by Our Benefactors. I have been proud to call City 17 my home. And so, whether you are here to stay, or passing through on your way to parts unknown, welcome to City 17. It's safer here.
Theres nothing better than studying architecture and making your planes at 2 Am with this ambient
The piano makes it sound like a Resident Evil soundtrack if RE4 took place in the city
Perfect music to read street level superhero comics to, like Batman, Daredevil, Moon Knight.
I love the way "Haunted by Whispers" fades into "The Citadel"
The mix overall is fantastic, but that segway was sublime.
Ah yes, a video where everyone immediately turns into story makers
"It was a dark and stormy night..."
@@CowboyRobot2000 "...and the clock just struck thirteen..."
@@lcmiracle "...as a lonely person, covered in dark clothes, walked through the empty streets, dimly lit by old lanterns..."
No need to hate, man. I actually really enjoy reading their stories
@@dakotahrivers6640 _I wasn't tho-_
I'm absolutely using these for my Shadowrun and Cyberpunk 2020 campaigns
The first track give me some Racoon City vibe
Mix this along with an undead theme and there you have it
You're right, as a lover of the saga I thought the same thing, the first track is very reminiscent of resident evil 2 and 3.
Man this is giving me flashbacks to playing cry of fear all those years ago..
Today is raining... with this... amazing
This creepiest walk down memory lane I have ever taken XD
So much fantasy music is based off of medieval era stuff. Rare to find such a high quality urban piece
You can almost see the bodies falling from those tall dark buildings. Tired of all, suddenly gravity is your best friend and the cold ground is your lover.
Great stuff as always.
You have very negative mind but not bad :D
You ehh...you wanna talk about it?
@@edreynolds8565 I Think Your Comment Is The Longest I've Ever Seen On CZcams, No Joke. It's Times Like This When I Wish I Spoke Italian. 😑
nice and smooth. I like kinda Address Unknown "Funhouse mix" from Max Payne 2
Ed Reynolds Ti sei sbattuto un bel po’ per scrivere così tanto in un commento eh
Just came back from Iceland on holiday....your music matched perfectly with the terrain of this country...one area in particular was the recent volcano eruptions which are now dormant. But the one volcano is called the “gateway to hell” because of the toxic clouds it spent out before. The one thing that stands out on this volcano is the crater ring...one part forms like a broken piece of a star gate....with the ice and snow in the background. With your music I did feel like I was at the gateway to hell...
Everything about that first song sounds like walking alone in the city at night, dragging a suitcase, a little tired, a little thirsty, coming back from a friend's perhaps, or from uni. It's so perfect and well chosen.
Remind me of the Cry of Fear Soundtrack. The City isn't safe, I need to reach the subway station on Saxon Avenue!
6:40 ineffable beauty
I like this, it’s almost asking the question of “What if a city slept?”
Personal notes; not so dark, more enigmatic vistas
33:40 Hilyard - Inverted Horizon
41:20 Ruptured World - Future Cries of No Tomorrow
Perfect for DND
You guys are my favorite channel on CZcams. Love the content as always.
I'm Commander Shepard, and this is my favourite channel on CZcams.
i loved this mix, you can feel the darkness surrounding you, you can almost see the enormous and partially illuminated towers rising in front of you in the middle of the eternal night, the sensation that in spite of you are among a lot of people you are alone while the darkness seems to devour slowly the little lights of the street where you are walking
This feeling exactly 💯
This is how I picture Gotham city from the point of view of the PD and detectives
Dark city, great movie, to.
I love that movie
So I'm in charge of the music in both my classroom and ttrpg group and this just cycled through my speakers. Also its raining where I'm at and I happen to be sitting next to the window. This is like perfect random music.... maybe NOT for the younger kids though.
citidel, at 15 54 is so wonderful. thank you cryo
Very calming, I'm so glad music like this exists
this is what quarantine sounds like
I'm used to it.. I've been quarantined since I was born..
I wish there was a love button for this mix, cause like isn't good enough.
Oh, that's sublime.
the first track samples a piece from Tenchu wrath of heaven - Dream World
Which fits so perfectly since thats for a post-story mission where you travel into the future, sneak through a massive skyscraper to the top to assassinate the "CEO". Very nice touch!
Powerful melodies
This material is incredible constant quality 👍
such a great ambient
My kind of music to take a stroll, surrounded by buildings and empty city parks. One of my favourite tracks by ProtoU "Gone" is in this fine collection.🌙
Songs of the city in the blackout.
well, this is perfect for my roll session !!
Great ambient.
I keep coming back to this, it's so inspiring.
There's a feel to this genre impossible to catch in definite words, but infinitely pleasant. Unsettling, yet appealing; all the while esthetic, luxurius, almost sensual. Cold, ethereal, fresh, deep. Nostalgic yet futuristic, uninviting while conforting. Desolate.
Reminds me of the city levels in DMC2. It might be the worst gameplay wise, but as for aesthetics I wanna say it was one of the best
A platoon out of supplies walks slowly through the streets, the cool breeze foreshadowing the imminent winter.
Ending is so hauntingly gorgeous...Love this channel!
Perfect for when the Coronavirus leaves your city empty and isolated.
Empty? Did everyone die?
@BeetleBUMxX about a month or so ago, if you looked at the livestreams of times square and other locations within NYC, the entire city would be dead silent. There would be maybe only one or two people walking through the square at any one point, though I don't know if things are different now that the self-quarantine practice is starting to fall out of use across the entire country.
yeah for all .05% of the people who die from it.
I low-key miss quarantine. Going outside felt like I am legend
@@abyssalrayz9499 give it a month or so; cases are skyrocketing again in the US, so you might see a return to it, but this time it might not be socially enforced
This is actually good to listen to when you are studying or reading.
Exquisite, alone.
All my years brought me to this place.
I can stop running.
🖤
Sweet dreams.
I am wondering if there is much point in listening to anything else now that I have found Cryo Chamber's collections. I am simply blown away by all this music.
This is perfect for running my World of Darkness campaign.
I'm happy that i foud this . It helped me a lot to write my next fictional neo noir essay for uni. It gave me a lot of ideas and feelings that I never got in touch before. This type of songs are unique and beautiful.
As GM I think I love you, Wraith:The Oblivion is going to be fun!
oh! is that game any good? i just started vtm.
@@lysander1 I think is the best game of Classic World of Darkness.
I love to listen to this while writing my stories. They are allways about new worlds, somewhere in the deep space. I love thinking about them with this music in my headphones. I feel like I am on some of these worlds. My favourite is the one, that have seven moons and beautifull nature full of new organisms. I love to laying on the grass and watching the night sky with lots of stars. I love it, because I can escape this world and all my problems for a few minutes. I love it. I love this music so much.
Cryo Chamber, you did it Again. Yet another brilliant vid, keep up that awesome work.
Stupid fat fingers. 😒
Yes, so true.
lol a cryo chamber production that doesnt include near-constant sound of dripping water, its a miracle
Thank you! Thank you so much!!
* I've been waiting for an urban city sound, something akin to my Flawed City short stories. I have explored with writing, art, and intellectual pursuits. The idea of a flawed world with both a promise of better and truth of not. It is a damaged fragile world, one without true conflict or plot but where many things happen. People so often have no control and are ruled by each other.
The City is a place where so many go, it is a place of dreams, yet it is flawed and sad, a broken dream where few wake up.
Nickolaus Afon
Sounds interesting, are your stories online?
I like the sound of it already; your populated yet empty black ice metropolis. Captivated by the concept. Go ahead.
I am publishing eBooks. So far I have an art profile too.
I don't share anything work related (such as my books) through youtube, though.
Still valey, ...wow ....i cant get enough of that work.
Stunning.
I can identify myself...my mind ...o my the things i see...cronologal inner expirience of unknown memorys again.
Brings me into 1890, on a hill in front of a wet castle wall...mist . 8celcius . The smell of osmose after lightning .
A tiger like animal is lookin at me , peacefull...wise as she is .
Lets move on.
I follow the animal into a dark warm forest.

so relaxing
There are many videos of yours that I love dearly but something about this one soothes my soul. The feeling is indescribable and I just want to thank you for its existence. Please, never stop uploading.
Thank you for not making it 6:30mins.
Perfect.
Because of you guys, I will never outgrow Ambient music nor get tired of listening to Dark Ambient. Great work as always. Also that last track somewhat has a Portal vibe in the beginning.
This makes me feel so nostalgic ✨✨
Great mix! Perfect for this Sunday, a little bit hung over.
A bright sunlit day and I'm in listening to this wonderful sound/music. 😻😍
One of my favourite Cryo mixes, all of the tracks are wonderful
These conceptual/thematic mixes are awesome. I love how they have a seemlessly flowing life of their own, while each individual artist featured are in fact quite unique in what they do. So gooooood...
Agreed. 🙌💯
YES. Another awesome compilation!
Fantastic, close second favourite to your Dark Jazz upload, keep it coming!
I love all your work cyro chamber, it's keeping me alive so thanks alot.
Reminds me of cry of fear. With the main atmosphere being a grey dismal cityesque hellscape, I think that aesthetic perfectly correlates with this playlist.
I've never figured out how this could be possible... but is wonderful that someone make this.
Also this sounds like the opening theme of an anime movie call kara no kyoukay.
Thanks for the best bedtime sleep 🖤
I have so many of these mixes saved in my various play lists. Keep it up. :)
always interesting to see how artists mix these tracks for certain themes, keep it up!
An undying desire to survive the coldness of dark, empty hearts. The pain has consumed what little was left, now completely dead from within, forgotten is my identity. I am.
It's been a while since I've visited this channel. Though with recent events in my life, I'm glad this is the mix I come back too. Puts me in a nice slumber and reserved state. Thanks Cryo
I Only wish you the Best in getting through life itself. I hear you. ✌✊
i have write all my book with this video, thx
which books?
Perfect for the book i was reading.
this channel is like food for my soul. The quality of this stuff are on another level. love from Brazil
Already lost in the maze after the first track, since i keep replaying it..:)
I love this compilation, it has become a fixation for me, listening once a day
So relaxing, so picturesque in my mind. Thanks for this playlist!
Another masterpiece....words are meaningless at this point, I just enjoy it
Absolutely fantastic. The opening track is amazing and a nice choice. I really like the photo as well. But as I said before, you shod release these mixes as a whole song via Bandcamp. All the best.
Amazing mix!
