@@ennordiskman9915 South Park
â@@ennordiskman9915 It's a reference to the 4kids dubbed version of Yu gi Oh. In the original, a character may die at the end of a duel but in the American version, they wanted to protect their precious retarded little kids so they made characters who died instead go to the shadowrealm (which in a way is worse because it's kinda like hell). The Jimmy Neutron thing is because of a meme where Jimmys dad reduced his lifepoints to zero, sending him to the shadowrealm.

I love to sit out in my back yard and watch the leafless trees being silhouetted against the darkening sky.
Is it weird that this makes me feel happier?
Not really. Some people prefer solitude, tranquility, silent darkness and the like, all of the things which are hard to find in the modern age especially in urban areas and in modern music.
I mean Jung believed in a full integration of your shadow. You might be happier cause you feel more complete.

This is the type of music that is for stress relief, to sleep, to study, and just to listen to.
Oh...so that's how it is...
References to SCPs aside, this is somehow so relaxing and lovely, that I could fall asleep to it. It's so otherworldly and grim that it loops around and becomes comforting in a homely manner. Kinda like a "I don't know this place but it feels like home" sensation. Fascinating to listen to.
*LIFE SIGNS LOST*
đ
Listening to this makes me think that darkness and shadow isn't a threat to me. It's the realm of the unknown...but the unknown isn't something to be feared. This music is the sound of my soul making peace with the shadows in the world and inside me.
A black space with floating cubes of glass, and astral specs and rays.
Iâm no threat but try not to provoke me. if you touch my gf. goddess of light and hope. Iâm her girlfriend that is goddess of everything and nothing. Wielder of darkness and despair. If you threaten to kill her your torso will be heavily damaged and so with your limbs and mind. and if you try to kill her you will be thrown into the stratosphere like I threw a paper plane. go fly weeeeeee.....
Oh you are onto something there. It makes me feel the same way. As if my shadows are all coming home and I welcome them. Standing at the door and watching for them in the mist.
Sit with shadows just as you follow the sun. You've been told to fear something that was always yours from the start.

The release of this mix is the first time I heard a Mount Shrine song. When it got to 23:44, I was so overcome by the power of this music, I actually had to stop working and just listen.

Excuse me but what the fuck?
Actually you do have a point. There is a time and a place for voicing your deepest insecurities and fears. Some people speak their insecurities and fears out loud as a way of comforting themselves, though it does make them seem like they're crazy, which does cause people to edge a little further away from them. On that front you're definitely correct, and if I saw someone do that I'd think they're a little crazy as well.
Still, listening to ambiance like this doesn't automatically mean you're crazy. I can see how it's possible to assume that, but it's not always the case.
Thanks
I really admire those people who know how to be alone. Who aren't afraid of the abyss of true freedom. Who go into from within themselves the depths of the universe. Who can see the divine in what most see as the mundane. Does it take training? Or just attention & awareness?

The music is great
"In the Shadow Lands beyond Asshai, they say there are fields of Ghost Grass, with stalks as pale as milk that glow in the night, murders all other grass. The Dothraki believe that one day, it'll cover everything, that's the way the world will end."
"On its way from the Mountains of the Morn, to the sea, the [river] Ash runs howling through a narrow cleft in the mountains, between towering cliffs so steep and close that the river is perpetually in shadow, save for a few moments at midday when the sun is at its zenith. In the caves that pockmark the cliffs, demons and dragons and worse make their lairs. The farther from the city one goes, the more hideous and twisted these creatures become, until at last one stands before the doors of the Stygai, the corpse city at the Shadow's heart, where even the shadowbinders fear to tread. Or so the stories say."

@@jameshall6365 I thought I was alone, too! For some reason, every detail had its own emotion when I was younger--not like happiness or sadness.
What was your experience like? Any further thoughts about the examples I gave in my comment, as well?
@@greatwavefan397 Yeah I agree on every detail having an emotion, but not like happiness or sadness but its own ethereal feeling. I think this has links to derealisation disorder but I wouldn't leave it entirely to that, I think a very very small amount of people have a broader awareness of reality and it's emptiness. This definitely unnerved me during my teenage years but after awhile it sort of stabilises.
@@jameshall6365 For me, it might've just been the extreme opposite of derealization, but perhaps "hyperrealization". I remember watching the ring of fire scene from _Finding Nemo_ and letting the unknown of the bubbly deep reds grip me. I didn't just see the darkness, the reds, the bubbles... I felt them.
I began having these feelings when I was a toddler. However, they've slowly faded away (edit: maybe even to the point of derealization) and have been replaced by actual emotion, logic, and aesthetic appreciation, perhaps due to emotional maturity and life's struggles. The "synesthesia" sometimes tries to return when I listen to certain types of artists, like Alexander "NightRadio" Zolotov or Hirotaka Shirotsubaki. Such feelings--even when I was younger--differed from nostalgia: I desired to explore a place or meet a person I would never meet until I shifted my reality.

It's our subconscious that enjoys this "weird" noises.
our bond with the universe; have you ever seen a moment in your life that felt like it's familiar to you? the same thing happens here, we enjoy this because in the space, we have almost similar noises(not sounds but as waves) always going around.
search for translated noises nasa captured from the space. you'll feel the similarities. we are a part of this universe, we are made out of it, these noises have always been our universal language. this is why we enjoy it.
