Alot of people operate on the assumption that God judges us by weighing our good vs our bad deeds. God's word tells us that His standard is absolute perfection. When we understand the expectations it is easier to grasp that we all fall short.

@@johnelliott5859 No Sir! God created us perfect, and we were meant to live forever. He also created us with free will, because love isn't love if it isn't given freely and by choice. However, Atheist leaders (Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, Lenin, etc.) killed at least 110 million people (according to the BBC War Audit) in the 20th century alone. This is more than all religious wars in the previous 19 centuries combined. Every religion takes money.... follow the money and discover the real truth!.There is just so much wrong with faith, I am absolutely dumbfounded that billions of people still are totally convinced faith is a virtue; a gift.
It would not be possible to even invent a more flawed, dishonest, reality-evading and cowardly method of epistemology as faith--which is:
.. is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
.. is pretending to know things you don't know.
    ...is belief without evidence
...is called faith, because it's not knowledge
...Faith is the purposeful suspension of critical thought.
...is having the ability to believe any lie you tell yourself to sustain your belief and hold that as a badge of honor.
...is a commitment to avoid questions you should be asking yourself about your beliefs.
..tells you it is the will of God to have you be as dishonest and cowardly as you have to be to sustain belief in Him.
...is when being devoted and committed to where sustaining a belief in God always trumps dishonesty, ignorance and cowardice
and I still feel I haven't hit the head of faith as viciously and as painfully as it deserves to be hit.
Faith requires one to throw away logic and reasoning. Faith tells you to believe, when all evidence tells you the opposite.
Faith is the belief you have in something when you don't have the evidence to show that it's true. Faith means you can't find the evidence to prove your point or that you are too lazy to do the research required to prove your point. You just accept without any real evidence. Faith is when you give up on the truth. Faith is not a path to finding truth. Therefore, faith is indistinguishable from gullibility...
