I love your videos so much Julia! I'm 15, turning 16 july 20th, and I've been watching you since I was 14. I really love your videos, they help me through my day. I also was vegan for 7 years, but when i was 14 we stopped due to health. We turned vegan because of many reasons, but it would make my eczema flare really bad. Now my eczema still flares a bit, but i dont get stomachaches like before. We don't eat dairy, or any red meats, but we eat a lot of seafood. I really am inspired to be like you when I get older, I love to explore different cultures, and I really want to travel the world!!! Thank you so much for all of your amazing content, I'm an artist and one day I'll be selling my art in numerous parts of the world!!!

When I moved into a place that had a front load washer I ran a cycle with only baking powder, vinegar, and a little washing liquid. I wiped it down and it was fine. Also, I left the door open after every wash so it can fully dry and not get that mildew mold smell. Let the washer breathe when you’re done doing laundry. There’s washer cleaning tablets too that might be helpful but I live by baking soda and vinegar especially for removing smells and cleaning.
exactly, you always need to keep the door open or it will start to become smelly!! since it need to be 100% leak proof, it cant "breathe" when its closed.

For the microwave just build up a base so it clears the refrigerator door. I had an apartment with a similar issue and just put a few books under it, problem solved.

Try some vinegar in the washing machine and keep it open to dry after use.
Did this! salt, vinegar and soup then I put it for a wash with the sponges. Leaving the door open from now on🙌

Not sure if it was always your plan to come to South Africa but when you were keeping everyone in suspense with where you were going to travel to, intuitively I was thinking it would be soooo crazy if you came to Cape Town.
If you are close to Cape Town CBD, go to Foodlovers, you will get a lot of fresh produce there and they have great value for money

Julia- how can you stay in South Africa for a year? Im an American citizen and was told 90 days.
I can't stay for a year, we rented an apartment that we can technically stay in for a year. I got 90 days on arrival and applied for 90 more days :)

I went hostel hopping for a bit too. And while it is exciting and fun, it also kept me in flight or fight. I never got to let my gaurd down and truly relax knowing that I didn’t know where I’d be in 48 hours, what new person would be there, or who’ll do what to me. Again, exciting and some people thrive on that unpredictability, but other people it takes them out of their body. Glad you found your balance of adventure and stability!
I totally relate to this, I think as a woman travel can truly bring on that flight or fight mode, because it's not just being in a new place, its fear of not knowing the environment. Thanks for hearing me and reminding me I'm not alone in these feelings! Lots of love to you💛

about the microwave ....hahah... this is just my opinion but i think that you have a beautiful healthy lifestyle and that you should ditch the microwave , its so bad for your food and your body :)
It came with the apartment and I can’t get rid of it unfortunately, and I only really use it to warm up my coffee!:)
