- Sugar Bear - Don't Scandalize Mine (1988)
Don't Scandalize Mine features musical elements sampled from Once In A Lifetime by Talking Heads and a repeated "you could get a smack for this" vocal from I Ain't No Joke by Eric B & Rakim. - Hudba
Still blasting this in 2024 💃🏽
💥💥Still banging this in 2024✌🏾❤️
Used to go to a hip hop club when I was 15 the place used to erupt to this! 49 now 😂
I used to train to this tune back in the days ,
When u stumble across a tune from back in the day and your like "Yeahhhhh that's the real shit right there!!!!!!" ;)
I dont mean to be offtopic but does anyone know a way to log back into an instagram account..?
I stupidly forgot the password. I would appreciate any assistance you can offer me.

I'm blasting 2023
Havnt heard this in decades what a banger🎉
I keep coming bk to this love it.this is a timeless classic proper 🔥🔥🎇🎇👏😉
I remember this loved the beat..my brother did mixing and scratching..cool tune
I was 10, my brother 13... we used to bang this tune out on his ghetto blaster..... ah man, those were good days.
One of the best tracks of the late 80`s, a friend of mine went to Camden on Wednesday to see ol Sugar.....still one of the best! Makes me feel 18 again...
Ah the Camden crew late 80s is historic, my best youth and life memories are in that place. We went down every Friday from stopsley in a convoy to wind up the cops, normally 30 + of us went religiously, Camden was a cult rave venue, best laser show fur it’s time, same crews in the same corner or balconys every week. We didn’t have to queue phew, as we were usually guest list pre
due to the size of our regular crew. And we were mates with Denzel the legend who hosted the door regularly. Those were the days, pure fun and ecstasy, I would never change them.
What a choon pure old skool class 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Who blasting this in 2019 💃💂UK

Call Me A Star And Watch Me Shine.......... Some tunes will never die.
I was working in a clothes shop when it first came out and when the boss used to put this on the cassette player staff used to be jumping up and down on the bass drop. Customers would come in and buy clothes just for our fun and energy

Love this tune brings back memories
This track was so much more than “just” hip hop. Game changer
Hardcore will never die
Big up all Junglists
Amen
Yeah man, Talking Heads mash up but nothing to do with the Junglists mate
@@JazzFunkNobby1964 who said it was?
@@JazzFunkNobby1964 Because in the late 80s hiphop/hipHouse was played alongside acid house at raves. House started to use more breakbeats, especially the producers who loved hip hop. The music got faster, we called this "hardcore". Which in turn got faster still and then merged with dancehall and became jungle. Sounds like you weren't around to watch the scene evolve mate.
@@lukescheybeler2923 I am a 58 year old Londoner. What do you say now? And what has anything you've written got to do with my previous comment?
@@JazzFunkNobby1964 Then you were around at the right time. But you want me to explain again? FFS

Here 2020 and Beyond!!!
Man, for years I thought he was saying "We still outrhyme" or "Don't steal our rhymes" on the chorus. No wonder I could never find this song on here lol. Used to love this track since back in the day and never knew the name of it.
CLASSIC!!
Lol. I used to think they said don't steal our rhymes too.
I didn't have a clue about the lyrics for years but they can't be singing about stealing rhymes as the beat is stolen from Once in a lifetime by Taking Heads. I'd love to know what Talking Heads thought when they heard this tune 😁😂
@@terencetaylor9319 LOL! Me too!
