This banger is 36 yrs old. A time back when it was a seriously great time for music. I my humble opinion, the music from 87 > 92 takes some beating.

🎉 This is one of my favourite Songs of all time, I just missed the it by 13 years... I was Born December 2000... I love the 80s and 90s, at least you can say that was the Proper Music Era 🎉
I was 15 when this came out.. Chicago House was all the rage here in the uk..!! Good times!! 👍🏻😎🙏🏻👌🏻
My favorite tune of the 80s,I was a young 17yr old lad back then, they were the days 😁
Best Ager now! I`m exactly the same age! 17 in '87.......🏠&🙂. Fck! THOOOSE were the days........
memories my brother x
80,s
Yep. Have two copies of this jam. One forever sealed the other spins at least three times a week on my wheel of steel.
I remember buying the single back in 87 still a classic tune.
First house tune I bought back in 87'! Classic...
super
Classic tune
Floor filler 100%. Nevet gets old. That's a sign of a true classic. Oh the memories back then. Awesome time. Thanks for uploading this. Had all the 12"s and remixes. Totally awesome 👌🏻
Lool didnt expect to see you here! Stay funky
Lockdown choon!! 💯🎶🔊🔊
Great memories
Brilliant song.
Pioneers of house music. Even pre Acid house.
The B side (jacks Back) is even better!
“I cannot buy it,…Jacks Back”
I still have the vinyl. This you got to have to get them babes.
You lucky one! I lost my vinyl one, but thank God for CZcams!
Love this extended version
Has a bit of a techno sound to it. Great great tune.
This track was way ahead of it’s time in ‘86. A precursor to a whole new sound.
Yeah I was into electro for a few years then house came out 86 87 I remember thinking it seemed ahead of its time,I liked house nation stuff like that
@@paulanthony5274 yes, I was crazy about electro! This was still a very interesting period. New styles, new techniques. It all seems so mundane now! Nothing much to get really excited about.
The Jungle scene here in London in the early ‘90s was very reminiscent of those days too. Oh to go back!
Hardcore will never die
Big up all Junglists
Amen
Totally agree! I remember the everyone running to the dance floor when the DJ played it. Amazing tune but whatever happened to Krush?
yes it did it in fact
@@paulanthony5274I was hoping you were THE Paul Anothony. The Fort Wayne Midwest legend Paul Anothony!
Definately a club banger back in the day
While working the decks in the 80's and being a Notts lad this was always a floor filler, thank you guys for creating this track! x
loved this song ... !!!! i bought it back in 87 as well!
Are you looking for love, don't follow me....we got this house ....UNDER ARREST
Classic house jam....like it
Damn - i remember being 11 and running out to buy this on 12". Still love listening to it and brings back so many memories of being honed into a young raver
Loved this mix. It made me feel normal. And good.
I had forgotten all about this jam
we got this house under arrest!!!!!!!!!
best UK house sound!
Yea...massiv Oldschool
still got the 12" mix i bought on vinyl.
Long time no play.
Memories of nutty a house party bagging tunes like this so loud. Happy day.
Proper tune
im so old :(
@Rev Alexander
Maybe, but a great track like this is immortal. 👍
Good things get better with time amigo. Be proud to have known this time. My nephew tells me every time he wanted to be born in the 70's, so even if I'm old I tell myself I'm lucky, hihihihi (^ - ^)
Yeah man 👍
So am i
We all get there sometime. Me too. At 52, I reflect on my past and think fooook there couldn't have been a better time to be there when this release dropped among a thousand others . 80s life as a teen couldn't have been any better!
Fuck me. Where did the last 30 years go?? 😳
I was going to say the same thing I was leaving school when this was in the chart
Can't think of many records I have listened to more than this. Back in the day on local radio the DJ would play first few seconds of a track in the charts and then onto the next one. Callers would have to shout stop when they heard the track they wanted to hear in full. Krush House Arrest kept getting chosen, think it drove the DJ crazy
great track
i still have the 12 inch of this :D oh the memories great track
The real swag! Aye. FAY
after 1986-87 house music transgressed into dance and rave scene of the 90s
Nice audio quality! Used to spin this trak back in the day. Still can't name every single sample used in this tune! hahaha.... :-D
same here
Got a couple of different versions of this on 12" vinyl. including this one. :D Seem to remember one of them had quotes from Beverly Hills Cop mixed in too :)
Just rediscovered this beaute. Quality.
🔊💥🙂✊🏻✊🏼✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿♥️
Nottingham born and bred...Still good
Oh oh oh,
hey hey.
none stop 1987
This is my 7 year olds favourite tune at the mo, she wants it on all the time. Could be much worse eh!
Yep she could be listening to the likes of cardi b.....she has very good taste.👍🏻
introduce them to kraft work
She loves the 80s more than the 10s/20s. Wow......! MayB caus' it sounds much better & different 4 her than all the mainstream of 2day! And back then it was a new style in the Rock/Pop era, too. Even though there also was breakdance.
Awesome taste your seven year old has 😘
Cool choone to chill out to beets the shopping rush.crazy.
>
Stay cool.
Whole 12' is the shit.
Maxi Version 🥰😍🥰😎😎🤗🤗
Me just love!
I don't know why but this reminds me of Grange Hill
Just say no
It was in an Episode in Series 12 i think !
2020 Quarantine baby. Now onto Liaz House Sensation/ Magic Juan Remix. :-)
I remember the group being interviewed on TV way back when this came out. The reporter Kept calling it ‘House style’ it rubbed me up the wrong way. ‘No you fool it’s HOUSE MUSIC’
3 people got arrested!

My FURST IRUSS💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋
Is this track available on iTunes? I tried to find it, but couldn’t.
@JayKayTee7 :D
One one listening to this as part of a thing. yep.
These guys went to the Other secondary School in my area (Aldeman White) I should hate them for this, but I don't LOL although I will say Chilwell Comp was for the tougher kids !!............Not many people know but Nottingham was a hotbed of Chicago House in the 1985 so they had a good upbringing
Belter tune
I used to have this 12", but I lost it among other stuff due to a thieving bastard. ;-(
Light years ahead :-) Free of shitty UK-style "house" that came after as exhibited by Tim Simenon, Mark Moore, etc. Pure electro/proto house/high energy Nottingham business ;-)
They came from Sheffield not Nottingham. The two scenes were very much linked though with warp and selecta dis
Warp Record !
Hacienda Dj Greame Park Was Also Part Of The Scence In Nottingham As a DJ.
Yeah, I believe you've nailed it. After Beat Dis/Theme from S-Express they just went "pop" and after the money. What you had on this track was a decent 7 inch vocal and a proper house 12 inch. In 1987. As you say, light years ahead.
I think Mark Gamble and Derrick May would have got on famously ahead of this track's release. So proud that a UK producer close to my neck of the woods put this together just before the World knew. I hope Ruth Joy is well.
this is not House music. it's straight hip hop, complete with samples, including Whistle's Only Buggin'.
it has a couple of samples from earlier hip hop / rap records but it's house, the poppier end of house, hip hop in the 1980s would never feature singing predominately, maybe a bit in the chorus but not as the main vocal, always liked this one though. There was a short lived hybrid genre called hip house which spawned some classic tracks but I don't this fits that category either.
House back in the day was often influenced by electro, hip hop and latin freestyle. That was before hip hop become crap and house even worse. I think you should listen to ”A Roller Skating Jam Named Saturdays” and tell me if its house or hip hop.
